Prolog

It got to the point that I just refused to look up anymore, not wanting to annoy the one more so than he already seemed.  I bit my lower lip slightly out of a nervous habit as I let myself mentally sigh.  Shoving my hands in my hoodies pocket as we made out way down the ramp.

' you already fucked up. '

I let out a silent sigh, shaking my head slightly to try and shake the negative thoughts out.  To try and stop then from getting worse.  Lost in focus; I didn't even notice the two had stopped.  Leaving me to crash into Reyes back like a brick wall.  Which, isn't much of an exaggeration since the man didn't even budge an inch.  Swallowed nervously as it took him a second for him to turn his head towards me, glaring down at me.

A small squeak left my lips as I quickly throw my hands up in surrender.  Quickly taking a few steps back.  But before I could muster up and form of an apology, a I felt a hand placed between my shoulder blades, pushing me forward and past Reyes.  "Let's introduce you to some of the others." Morrison said as he continued to push me forward in an encouraging way as he lead us to a small group of people that were standing outside, under a little sky walk.  Though, I was trying to take in more of the scenery than the people in front of us.   But as we got closer it was a lot harder to make it not as noticeable that I was trying to avoid them while looking around.  I swallowed my nervous as I decided to take in the features of those I'd basically be living with.  Praying to some unknown God, if there is one, that I wouldn't make any accidentally awkward eye contact with any of them. 

It was a pretty small group, just three people that looked like they were having a fun conversation judging by how they were acting.  The one on the left seemed to be the smallest of the three.  She had some bulky type of device that was on her chest and back.  She had her goggles pushed up on her head, pushing her brown bangs back and it looked like she had some serious bed head, which judging by a book by their cover, was a ball of pure energy since she was basically bouncing in her spot. 

The one in the middle was at least a few inches taller and had her hand placed over her mouth as her shoulders shook slightly, I guess what ever the brunette was saying was funny.  Her blonde bangs were placed perfectly to stay out of her eyes as the rest was tied perfectly back. She was wearing a white doctors coat which had me cock my brow ever so slightly.  They looked pretty familiar from what little videos I would see online, which apparently was much because I know nothing about them really.  Then there's third one.  Which had me give off a noticeable brow raise.

He was the tallest out of the three and looked like he was trying out from some old time western movie.  He had the hat, brown locks, small facial hair and all.  Yet I never seen anything about this wannabe cowboy on any social apps.  And I feel like I'd remember seeing a cowboy, not only because of the get up, but for the fact he looks like he should be as intimidating as Reyes, was about the same height as him too.  But the way he's looking at the others and his body language towards them seemed welcoming.  It also didn't hurt that he was kinda cute—.  I quickly shook my head as I felt my cheeks start to heat up ever so slightly. 

'...what is wrong with me?!...'

"It really worked this time!  The explosion was phenomenal!" The brunette said jumping to show her excitement, British accent? Taking mental note of that. 

The blonde chuckled softly as she shook her head, "my oh my" and a German accent.  Accents aren't strange to me and they're not all that hard to understand.  But I like to take mental notes of them. 

The cowboy wannabe was smirking as he tilted the front of his hat up, before hooking his thumbs into his belt buckle. "So the monkey finally got it right this time?" He said, having a smooth southern accident which has me mentally eye rolling.  I don't know what I expected and I honestly shouldn't be surprised that this cowboy had the accent to match.
