I wish things could go back to the way it was.
But it's not that easy, isn't it?
And the other memories that swayed around me proved it too.
Our fathers' hatred for god knows what, the consequences that came with it, the mistakes made not only by us, but our families, regrets, everything.
Nothing will be the same again.
I knew he felt what I was feeling too. I could see it in his eyes. He didn't stop staring and I wasn't complaining either. However, the disgusting incident that happened two weeks ago came crashing in along with the person who was the cause of it.
Ava fricking Wilson.
She rested her hand on top of Sean's shoulder and eyed me like her next meal. I wasn't scared though. Fright was the last thing on my mind. Sean removed his gaze from mine, startled by the unexpected interruption.
"Ready to go, babe?" She asked in a sweetly, though her eyes said otherwise.
Sean gently pushed her arm off his shoulder and replied, "Uhh... you go on without me, I'll be there in a sec."
Ava looked mad but she nodded and smiled sweetly at him again. Then she glared at me and mouthed, "He's mine, bitch" and walked away without another word.
She didn't have to worry though. She can keep that asshole all to herself. The two were made for each other.
I grabbed my bags and took a quick glance at Sean, who noticed me looking. I huffed at him to say that I don't care anymore and he can go fuck himself.
And I think my message got to him.
I turned around to walk away but my arm was gripped tightly by a rough hand. I ignored the butterflies in my stomach, scratch that, the whole zoo in my stomach and faced him. He looked like he was about to crumble, and my hard glare softened at his state.
Don't give in, Willow!
"I-I-I'm sorry, Lily. I-" He started but I cut him off.
"Sorry for what, huh? For being too busy with Ava sucking face when I was actually worried about you? Cause, trust me, you can do whatever you want, I was never holding you back." I spat out, jerking my arm away from his hold and strutting away to The Herd.
In a way, I was proud of myself for not giving in but I didn't dare look back at him because I was afraid I would.
God, I'm so dramatic.
As soon as I went up to the Herd, Zeke started clapping. "Never knew you had it in you, sister." He commented gleefully.
I chuckled lightly, "I didn't know it either."
Chloe started to praise me too, but the look on Jade's face made me frown in confusion. She looked like she was disappointed.
Was she?
Why though?
I dismissed the thought and questioned, "Where's Zayne?"
Chloe smiled cheekily and said, "Can't go one second without him, huh?"
I rolled my eyes and asked, "Seriously, where is he?"
"He already went down to camp. Wanna go there too?" Zeke replied, to which I nodded.
"Great, let's go." Chloe said, as we went down the rocky road.

The team had gathered at the largest cabin, which is the lunch hall and apparently the place where the scouts and officials of the camp were staying at. Don't get me wrong, because when I said the cabin was huge, it is definitely huge. It was four-storied luxurious cabin with humongous space with all kinda artifacts dangling around. There were about four dozen rooms on the top three floors, each with its own balconies while the first floor was reserved for the dining area. If you didn't know this was a camp, the cabin could've passed for the vice president's lake house.
