The moon shone in the seemingly empty void of the night sky its ghostly rays of light covering everything it could like a person desperately trying to stay warm on a winters day but to me it was the antidote to my exhaustion the the calm to the chaos in my brain, even though this wouldnt last long before it would be ripped away from me as it did so all those times before, everything would flood back like a tsunami rising before crashing down destroying everything that once stood tall. That's when it happened the phone across the room started to ring on and one the other end was yet another problem I had to fix and yet another thing I had to make dissappear without a trace but that's what I I did and this time was going to be far from the previous "jobs", this was going to change everything.

It was the spring of 1974, in the mountains of alaska one of the most beautiful but also the most unforgivable places in the world. Where elm and fern trees danced in the fresh scent of sap like the sweet smell of freshly baked goods in the oven taunting you over to them but they held something not so sweet and welcoming within.

During the blistering cold nights the beast held back by the trees were let out to play causing havoc and hell to those who dared the roam the mountains at night, the ones who didn't last the night only to be found by the poor caretakers that worked in the cabins before the guests were awake to enjoy the activitys. The beasts of the mountain were far to well known by the workers as they themselves were the ones who persuaded the victims to go on there beloved night trail as if offering them to the beasts to keep them tame.
