You both laughed.

Y/n: I'm presuming your one of the players judging by your shirt
Jake: oh yeah I do
Y/n: what position do you play?

Don't judge me I know nothing about sports 😅

Jake: I play center
Y/n: oh cool. How come you're on the team i thought they didn't accept new years to join the team.
Jake: i got lucky really. The captain saw me and my group of friends playing and decided to let us on the team. Most of us our subs though.
Y/n: so you friends with Sunghoon, Jay and Jungwon right? Or are you talking about a different group?
Jake: what do you think?
Y/n: hmm just by the way you talk and walk you clearly belong with Sunghoon,  Jay and Jungwon.
Jake: i don't know if i should take that as a compliment or not
Y/n: take it as you will
Jake: a compliment it is then!

You smiled and laughed a bit to yourself remembering they all have funny nicknames for each other.

Y/n: tell me what is Jay's nickname

Jake smirked.

Jake: his nickname is-
???: yah! Jake!

You and Jake looked in the direction the sound was coming from.

Y/n: who is that?
Jake: oh that's heeseung

You looked at Jake confused.

Jake: He is the oldest out of the group we call ourselves "enhypen"
Y/n: how many of you are there? And why enhypen?
Jake: well you met me, Heeseung, Jay, Jungwon, and Sunghoon that's most of us. You haven't met ni-ki or sunoo! But enhypen just seems cool really.
Y/n: oh? So there is 7 of you guys?

Jake nods.

Heeseung: Jake come on!
Jake: aish... Fine!

You looked over at Jake's team where heeseung stood. Heeseung looked at you and smiled a little but it was that awkward smile. Most likely because you didn't know each other at all.

Jake: how about we talk after the game?
Y/n: that would be nice i don't have classes either so I'm free
Jake: alright I'll meet up with you later

You just hummed.

Jake: later I'll introduce you to ni-ki and sunoo

Jake ran over to his team where Heeseung patted his back and looked at you again.

~after the game~

You clapped as Jake ran over to you, sweating.

Y/n: congrats to your victory!
Jake: heh thanks

You jumped the barrier. Jake made sure you didn't hurt yourself. Like the gentleman he is

Y/n: so where we going?
Jake: how about... a café?
Y/n: that sounds nice... let's get you cleaned up first though

You pinched your nose slightly and grabbed Jake's hand to drag him over to his team. His whole team looked at him as Jake leaned down and let you wipe his head of any sweat with the towel that layed on the bench.

Your eyes were at eye level and your faces were just inches away from each other. You continued to give the towel to Jake and a water bottle.

Jake finished the water bottle quicker than expected and wiped his head again.

Heeseung was just looking at you 2 the whole time. He looked like he was biting his tongue.

You walked over to Heeseung while Jake went to get dressed.

Y/n: hi, I'm y/n
Heeseung: hello my name is Heeseung
Y/n: I know
Heeseung: you know?

You nodded
