I never knew Stuart liked music, but he explained he adored music, he even wants to maybe make a career out of music but he still wasn't sure. Honestly, I want to make a career out of music as well.
"What's your favorite band?"
"The Human League, wanna listen to a song?" I nodded, he showed me a song called, "Don't You Want Me" He bounced around and sang along with it perfectly.
After the song was over he asked me, "What's your favorite band?"
"Well... I don't have a favorite band... instead musician."
"Well, who is it?"
"D-David Bowie-"
"No way really!?" He interrupted with excitement, "I love David Bowie! He's my favorite musician as well!" I smiled, I looked around his huge collection of CDs and vinyls and found his 1969 self-titled album and put on "Space Oddity," my absolute favorite song by him, it's just always been so special to me in a way.
"This is my favorite. Do you like this song?"
"I do! It's my favorite as well!" We both danced and sang the song, I wasn't the greatest singer but Stuart's singing was angelic.
"Your voice is amazing Stu, you'd make a great singer one day."
"Oh, I don't just sing" He pulled out a tiny keyboard, "I play the keyboard as well." I played the keyboard too but I needed some tips.
"I play the keyboard as well, can you help me learn?"
"Of course Y/n!" We both were so passionate about music, we both had similar tastes. It felt like our meeting was just fate, we both strived to become musicians, even if our dream didn't go as planned we thought...
