Rejected, Lost, Then Found

"I Axle Reed, future alpha of the Crescent Moon pack reject you Rianna Jones as my mate and you furthermore will be banished from this pack." 

Axle states with cold eyes. He says this in front of everyone. I tell myself not to cry but I can't help it, a tear has already escaped my eye.

"Why?" I ask confidently, looking straight into his eyes. He pauses before answering.

"Because you're weak, I am much better off with Stacy than you." He states grabbing my now ex-best friends hand. She smirks at me and waves. I'm shocked, how could she do this to me. Even if my mate rejecting me was enough, this just adds the fire. 

"Okay," I say,

"I'll leave." I turn to walk away but then I remember something, I smirk.

"Oh and by the way Stacy" I say, she tilts her head at me like in a child and nods her head to continue. She smirks. 

'Ha! She won't be smirking after this.' My wolf growls.

"Darrel says he wants kids" I say smirking. Darrel's Stacy's mate she found a couple of weeks ago.

"I wish you all the best, you and your mate. I'm sure the alpha and him will both look after you." I wink and see Axle looking at Stacy furiously, he obviously didn't know about her mate.

'Ha that got them' My wolf grins in my head. I can't help but feel happy about my little accomplishment, but I know deep down me and my wolf are broken, torn even, we are rejected. This is known as a worser feeling than having silver or wolfsbane forced down our throats. The moon goddess chose our solemates for us, and mine just rejected and banished me.

Three years later:After staying at her mother's cousins pack with her brother for 3 years it is finally time for their father to step down as Beta and for her brother to step up to become the beta with his mate. This means going to the pack that she had been banished from. There was an exception for her coming though. She has to perform the ceremony and be her brothers mates maid of honor. But what happen when she finally meets Axle (her mate) for the first time in 3 years since the rejection and banishment. Will she fall for his charms or leave him in the dust like he did to her. Axle has already suffered his mate leaving because of his father's rules, will he go against his father's rules and be able to win her back or will he once again be left alone again.

A king can't rule without his queen, but what happens when he has already rejected and banished her?
