Your storys should be detailed descripted and filled with inspiration and thought so I think the range between words you use should naturally be around 400 to 2000 but if you want short stories that should take around 200-500 words to make,but still try to describe them as much as possible while having a short or long story now it depends on the person but I personally think that this is the best length for them
