Paralyzed into history forever
A reminder of the forsaken
A lesson for the youth

Moonlight molding a grainy picture
The pieces attempt to mend
Music blares
Technology advances
People march
And another war begins

A cry for freedom calls out
Leading the way to triumph
And a bed of shattered bones
Whispering of a never-ending defeat

The fallen an everlasting memory
The survivors damned to a post-traumatic hell
And the families drift apart
Yet another riot makes way

The thread to end perfection stretching nearer
The united join hands in hope
The voices no longer oppressed
Pass on from nation to nation

Painting the edges of the eclipse
The cherry blossoms begin to scatter
A new change follows
Fueled by the support of millions
Creating the world's next largest debate

The iridescent fog slowly lifts
Revealing a new spark of salvation
The pieces chip
And paste back together

The globe remains imperfect
Covered with cracks and chipped edges
Flashes of light pour forth
Illuminating every flaw and perfections

The planets revolve around the Star
A never-ending cycle
Mistakes happen
Lessons are learned
And changes are made
