Chapter 7: Conqueror Of Flames

Shizu POV

after dragon-san left I stayed there for a bit and got back to the tent where Eren was waiting after I got back we talked about this village and went to sleep.

 and as soon as I slept I saw a nightmare I saw my childhood from when I got summoned to when I killed my only friend after that I got up panicking and ifrit was trying to take control my body was releasing small heatwaves and I tried to control it but it was hard my chest started to tighten and I grabbed my chest and tried to control it but it didn't work but suddenly it got back to normal like it didn't even happen I then quickly run to my mask and put it on ' that was close' i thought that and put on my cloth and went to the same cliff as yesterday but this time to look at the town

" do you like our town?" dragon-san said with his adorable smile

" yes, very much," I said taking my mask off and smiling

Rimuru POV

I was doing my daily patrols seeing the progress of the village and I was happy with it after a while of patrolling I get to the tent Shizu was staying at but suddenly I could feel the spirit inside her trying to take control. I didn't want her to lose control so I increased her resistance a bit, after that, she regained control and reached for her mask and put it on. I then move away from the tent and got back to see the process of the village after a while I finished and headed to where Shizu was and find her looking at the town

" do you like our town?" I said while walking towards her

" yes, very much," she said taking off her mask and smiling

" If that's the case you could stay as much as you want, Shizu-san."

" Thank you... but I have to go" she said With a sad expression

" If I stay here, I might bring trouble for you." She said smiling but I can see in her eyes that she was sad we stayed silent for a while and I said

" Well, life is too short to carry a heavy burden in one's heart. if you ever need a pillar to make it Lighter I'm here for you" I said smiling ( well it doesn't work for him tho )

 as I said that she looked at me surprised but then she snapped out of it and said

" Thank you," she said with a beautiful smile but this time it wasn't fake

" Well you could come back anytime you want" 

" Ok, Thank you," she said with an even beautiful smile

after that, we both said goodbye and I went to our work and she went to her tent to repair for her departure. after I finished doing the work I go to where they are to say goodbye

" ahhh, they finally came," said kaval with an exhausted look

" Jeez, why do women take so long to get ready?"

" SHUT UP-" as she said that Shizu stopped moving and she suddenly started to scream grabbing her chest ' i guess she can't hold it back anymore' i thought that and said

" Rigurd evacuate all the Citizens"

" yes lord Rimuru," he said and started to evacuate the citizens

" SHIZU-SAN" Eren shouted

"r-run.." Shizu said while trying to hold back

and Shizu kneeled and the mask started to crack and a fire started to emerge all over her body, the fire started to go upwards and started to form black clouds, after that, Shizu stopped screaming and started floating in the air she then released a heatwave pushing  everyone except me
