Chapter 1

I told you our story wasn't over. In fact, it just begun. You may think they ended with a happily ever after. But the truth is, they are still so far away from reaching. Now let's revisit the romance of Freddy and Bonnie.

The morning glow begin the rise upon the horizon. The wind blew gentle ripples only the surface of the water. The golden light shined on the cabins. Freddy slowly opened his eyes. He turned to his side to see that the other half of the bed was empty. He yet put a deep yawn. He was only in his boxers when he sat up and got out of bed. He didn't have the energy to bother putting on clothes. The was a pleasant aroma floating in the air. It made his mouth water and his stomach roar. He made is way into the kitchen. Bonnie was standing over the stove cooking steak and eggs in the skillet. He noticed Freddy in the corner of his eye. "We'll good morning sleepy head. I wondered when you were gonna finally wake up." Freddy smiled and wrapped his arms around Bonnie. He rested his head on Bonnie's shoulder in a sleepy manner. "My I don't know how you could be so sleepy. You slept in this morning." Bonnie stated. "Shhh" Freddy said softly. "Just let me hold you." Bonnie giggled and turned the stove off. He placed the food on a plate and handed it to Freddy. "Well eat up dear, I wanna head out and do some more fun stuff." Bonnie stated. Freddy took a seat at the table and started eating. "You sure are enjoying yourself here." Freddy stated with a smile. "Oh Freddy, this whole trip with you has been amazing!" Freddy chuckled and placed a kiss on Bonnie's cheek. "Well then get dressed baby. Cause I know what we could do that is fun and romantic~" Bonnie eyes lit up with delight. "Oh I can't wait~" Before Bonnie left Freddy gave a big smack on Bonnie's ass. Making him let out a small yelp and blush. "Naughty Bear~" Bonnie said waving his tail seductively as he walked away. Freddy growled seductively. "That boy is gonna make me sin~"

They rounded the corner to the stables. Horse riding was a very popular aspect to the cabins. It allowed members to go further into the woods and higher in the mountains. The fresh smell of cut hay lingered in the atmosphere. The horses could be heard neighing and stomping their hooves. They were waiting to be broken out of their stalls and set free into the wild. "Gosh, they're so beautiful!" Bonnie stated. Freddy chuckled and gently pet the snout of the horse. "You up for some horse back riding Bon?" Freddy asked and a cheese manner. "I've never rode a horse before Fred." Bonnie stated. "Don't worry these horses have been highly trained and managed around people of all ages since birth." One of the instructors stated. "If you want we can put you on Peaches. She is one of our older and more gently horses." Bonnie thought about it and smiled "Sure I can give her a try." The instructor brought out a tan colored mare with golden hair. "Oh wow she's beautiful!" Bonnie called out in amazement as he gently pet her neck. The horse laid her head on Bonnie's chest embracing his affection. "See Bon she likes you." Freddy stated. "I hope you don't mind sir but due to your size we'll have to put you with a bigger horse." Stated the instructor. Bonnie was quietly laughing in the background. Freddy turned to Bonnie and narrowed his eyes. "I hear you over there bunny!" Bonnie couldn't help but giggle. "Oh now Fred, you know I'm just teasing." Freddy helped Bonnie onto the horse and saddle as the instructor prepared Freddy's horse. It was a black clydesdale and it was very magnificent. Once they were saddled up and strapped on they exited the barn and headed down the trail.

The horse trails were a lot wider and rougher than the hiking trails. Between the steep inclines and the rocky paths, they could see why horse were more build for these roads. They trotted deep into the forest. The only sounds that could be heard were from the stomps of the hooves and the roaring river bend. They were far deeper in the woods then they've gone before. They were engulf by the thicket of ferns and vines. The trees were much taller as they stood guard over the valley. Along the way Bonnie and Freddy laughed and carried on conversation about the world around them. "Who knew there was so much more to this place." Bonnie stated. "Well this is the kingdom of the wilderness. Everything that mother nature bares is apart of her home." Freddy replied as he trotted along side Bonnie. "I suppose, I just never imagined how big the world truly is." Bonnie replied. "The world have always been vast, we just need to take the time to explore it's wonders." Freddy stated. Bonnie turned to Freddy and smiled. Blushed spread to his cheeks. "Well I'm glad that I get to explore it with you." Freddy in return blushed and smiled. "And I am honored as well to share this adventure with you." They both started at each other in moments of silence. Their eyes casting stars into each other's. "Hey, how about a little race?" Freddy asked. "Oh I don't know I don't want to over due the old girl." Bonnie stated. "It won't be a long one. Just to the mountain ridge." Freddy pleaded. Bonnie looked down then smiled. "Well alright I suppose since it's a small one." Freddy smirked and whipped the reins of the harness. "Wonderful, Onward Majesty!" The horse stood on his hind legs, cried then stormed off along the trial. "Hey no fair!" Bonnie called as he whipped the harness and started to charge after Freddy. The hooves thunder and shook the ground. Clouds of dust trialed behind them as the race was one. They leaped over rocks and logs They swift passed the creepers and vines. They even splashed through the raging rapids. Despite Freddy's head start in the race Bonnie was able to catch up and stay neck and neck with him. They laughed as they could feel the wind brush through their ears and hair.
They eventually tied when they reached the mountain ridge. They halted their horse and tied them down to rest. "Come let us explore the view." Freddy stated. They took ahold of each other's paws and proceeded their way up the mountain. The purple rocks and the specs of quartz glisten from the sun. They made it up to the top of the cliff and gazed over the view. The valley was a arrangement of greens and blues. The was open and heaven pearly gates pushed light through the clouds. It was like a painting that you would find in a museum. "Oh Fred it's beautiful!" Bonnie cheered. Freddy softly breathed in and out. He smiled as the wind danced around them. He gently rubbed Bonnie's paw. He felt that his soul had been purified and at peace since they've been here. This is what he need, to get away with Bonnie. Escape the world they new and explore what there was to offer. "Freddy?" Freddy looked down at Bonnie who was staring up at him. Freddy smiled and nuzzled the top of Bonnie's head. "I'm fine love, just taking it all in." Bonnie smiled and sighed of relief. "Let's continue on, there's more daylight for us to burn." Freddy stated. Bonnie nodded and they headed back down the mountain.

The sun had started to hang low as they made their way back through the forest. Little glows of fireflies swirled and danced along the path. Guiding their way back. "Getting hungry Bon?" Freddy asked. Bonnie softly rubbed his stomach. "Now that you mentioned it I'm starving." Freddy chuckled. "I thought so follow me. I know a shortcut." Freddy turned down a trial that was unknown to them before. Bonnie stopped at the mouth of the path. "Freddy wait. I don't think we should go down this way." The path was unmarked meaning it was neither a horse trial nor a hiking trail. "Come on Bonnie it'll be fun." Freddy pleaded. Bonnie looked down thinking further on what to do. Freddy frowned and spoke softly. "You trust me, don't you?" Freddy asked. Bonnie looked back up at him. "Of course I trust you Fred." Freddy smiled and turned back down the trial. "Well that's all you need!" Bonnie gave in and followed him down the path. After a while they came out to an opening. "Where are we?" Bonnie asked. Freddy stopped his horse. He hopped off and tied the harness to a branch. "Just a spot that I found a few days ago." Bonnie hopped off and tied his horse up too. Freddy grabbed ahold of Bonnie's paw and they started to walk down the shore line of the lake. They rounded the corner to a blanket with a picnic basket and a bottle of wine. "What is this?" Bonnie asked. "I said I had something run and romantic planned for today." Freddy replied. Bonnie let go of Freddy's hand and ran over to the blanket. He took a seat on the soft quilt that had a view of the lake. Freddy sat next to him. He opened the basket and pulled out sandwiches and desserts. "Oh Fred, did you plan this whole day?" Bonnie asked. Freddy smiled and handed him a sandwich. "I just figured today would be laid back for a change." Bonnie started to chow down as Freddy poured him a glass of wine. "It's strawberry, your favorite." Bonnie smiled and took the glass. "You know this is bad for me." Freddy chuckled and poured himself a glass. "Yeah but your cute when your drunk." They enjoyed their quality time with their meal and the colorful scenery. Bonnie finished ans sighed happily. He laid his head on Freddy's shoulder. Freddy smiled and wrapped his arm around Bonnie's waist and kissed his forehead. "This honeymoon has been absolutely amazing honey." Bonnie stated. "I'm glad to hear that. I'm enjoying my time with you." Freddy replied. "Tommorow is our last day here, I'm sadden to leave this place. Can we just live here Fred. It's so beautiful and peaceful here. It's perfect." Freddy chuckled and snuggled Bonnie closer to him. "What about the house in the meadows?" Bonnie's eyes widen. "You remembered that?" Bonnie asked. "Of course I remembered that. I promised you that I would make that house into our home for you." Freddy replied. Bonnie blushed and smiled at Freddy's statement. "You don't always have to go to great lengths just to make me happy." Bonnie stated. Freddy nuzzled his cheek. "It's my job Bon. I live for your happiness. Here I also go you something." Freddy stated. Bonnie rolled his eyes and whined. "Freddy!" Freddy pulled out a little bracelet. It looked like a was made from a peice of string and little seashells. "Fred, where'd you get this?" Bonnie asked. "Oh this little thing?" Freddy asked. "I made it." Bonnie gently took it and studied it in his paws. The pink and white pearly shells sparkled under the glow of the sunset. Bonnie started in wonder at the little peice of jewelry. "I know it's not much since I'm not an arts and crafts person. But I also know that you're not one of those money hungry fools seeking pleasure in expensive things." Freddy stated. Bonnie smiled and repeatedly smothered Freddy's cheek with kisses."Oh Fred, it's perfect!" Freddy smiled and helped him tie it around his wrist. "I love it!" Bonnie cheered. "And I love you~" Freddy replied. They turned their gazes to each other and smiled. They leaned closer and gently placed their lips on each other. Like a puzzle piece they fit so perfectly with the sweet taste of wine on their lips. They pulled away smiling and snuggled closer. They looked towards the sun watching it sank behind the horizon. The world around them was at peace. Their toes buried in the soft sand. Their fingers intertwined, locked from the embrace. The moon rose over the valley casting shadows on the ground. Black silhouettes that danced amongst the fireflies.
