Chelsea's POV
I was spending another regular day at my mum's house. The birds were singing the sun is shinning, you get the picture.
Everything was perfect and peaceful, until a huge moving van pulled up right next to our fucking house!
Excuse my cursing, but my afternoon was perfect and everything was going my way, untill these mysterious new neighbours turned up out of the blue.
The worst part about that moment was that I was sunbathing on my front lawn in a freaking bikini!
I know you're asking, why would you sunbathe on your front lawn? Well, the sun is so very inconveniently placed infront of our house; so, by noon, the sun has already disappeared and our back garden is shade central.
About a minute later, after the van had arrived, a car pulled up in front of the house next door.
A woman, about mum's age, got out of the silver car and put her hand out. A little girl, who looked about three or four, hopped out the car whilst holding her mum's hand for support.
Both the mum and the daughter had blue eyes. The mum had long, brunette hair, like mine, and the small child short, blonde hair.
I examined our new neighbours, they looked innocent enough. A mum and her young daughter, "they seem like decent, non-annoying neighbours," I thought to myself.
Then, he got out.
A boy, about my age, slammed the door of the car, on the opposite side to his relatives.
The dark-haired boy took off his sun glasses, aviators to be exact, and ruffled his hair a little, before making his way to the sidewalk.
It honestly felt like a scene out of a movie, where a really cool character enters the scene and it's all in slow motion.
I didn't know if I should be annoyed or happy that my Saturday afternoon was ruined by a cute boy and his family.
Yes, I called him cute. I mean, it's the honest truth.
He didn't look happy to be there if I'm honest, maybe he was being forced to move, kind of like the situation I'm in right now.
However, his sister looked thrilled to be in a new, exciting area. She was really cute and was running up to the front door of their new house.
I wish I was as enthusiastic as her when it came to moving houses.
I put on a long, almost completely transparent, cardigan to try and cover myself up a bit, and walked up to the fence, resting my arms on the, lined up, wooden planks.
"Hello, dear. Are you our new neighbour?" The woman asked with a friendly, nurturing smile.
"I guess so, my name is Chelsea, welcome to the neighbour hood," I said with a smile remaining on my face.
"Hey, mum, why don't you take Lily inside?" The boy suggested, walking up to the fence and mimicking my actions, by resting his arms near mine, on the fence.
"I'll get to know our neighbour," he said flashing me a suggestive smile. I could already tell this guy was going to be a handful.
His mum took Lily inside and the boy continued to smile at me, I guess he was trying to seduce me or something like that.
"Hey, Princess, I'm Jax with a X," Princess? Who the hell does he think he is?
"Excuse me? My name is Chelsea not Princess!" I snapped back as I removed my arms from the fence and stood up straight.
He chuckled, slightly biting his bottom lip, :
"feisty one, arn't you? Girls are normally falling at my feet by now."
"Wow this guy is full of himself," I thought to myself as my attraction towards him quickly faded.
Not only was my great afternoon; in the sun, ruined! I got a jerk for a next door neighbour too!
"Luckily for me, I'm not under your cheesy little spell," I said crossing my arms and showing smart smirk on my proud face.
He laughed again, mocking my comeback, "well, arn't you just charming? I guess I'll see you around," he said, still spunding amused with himself.
He winked at me and put on his glasses, before beginning to walk away from the fence, and towards his new home.
"What makes you think that?'' I asked, obviously in a terrible mood.
"I live next door now, how could you forget about that, Princess?"
"Fuck," I cursed in my head.
"Well, don't get your hopes up, I'm only here every other week!" I yelled, grabbing my towel and sun lotion before storming towards my front door.
"Whatever you say, Princess." He yelled back from his own front door.
Unfortunately for me, he had already walked into his house before I could think of any come backs.
"Damn it."
That kid is really going annoy me and now I have to live with it every other week. Moving to New York seems to be more and more of a good idea as the days go by.
