Chapter 1:

Darcy was beginning to wonder how they got anything done around the ship.

It had been a couple of days since they'd dropped off Grogu with Luke to resume his Jedi training.

Leia had called a day later to set up a rendezvous to deliver the credits that were owed to Darcy for taking out the Empire.

Both parties had decided to meet on the same planet as before; the one on the edge of the Outer Rim, near wild space. The one that had the pretty crystals.

They were now on their way to that planet, stopping a day into their travels to stock up on food and fuel, and now they had a day left of travel time.

And here Darcy and Din were, breathing heavily after Din had dragged her back to bed while she'd been in the middle of doing their laundry.

She had to give it to the man, he was determined, and frankly, she was loving every minute of it.

Darcy was honestly surprised that he even let her sleep. But he cared about her deeply and knew she needed ample amounts of rest. He did a good job of taking care of her, allowing her to sleep while he did stuff around their ship. Doing the typical maintenance as well as cleaning up. Darcy did cook for them, and attempted other tasks, though rarely completed them.

Din doing it all while she was fast asleep after he'd exhausted her, was really the only reason anything got done.

She'd been a bit tired lately.

The man had stamina.

Now they were lying next to each other, naked and sweaty, Darcy's hips raised by the pillows under her lower back, coming down from her last orgasm.

Her stomach growled, interrupting their post coital bliss. It had been a few hours since she'd made them lunch.

Din turned on his side to look at her, propping himself up on one hand, while the other moved to rest on her stomach, his broad palm warm against her skin. She looked at him, seeing him gazing upon her with a tender expression.

"What do you want for dinner?" He asked, his voice a bit raspy, sending tingles through her body.

"I hadn't thought about what I'd make," she answered truthfully. She had wanted to try and get some tasks done today, and hadn't planned what she'd make for dinner. They'd picked up groceries though, so she could really cook them just about anything.

"I'll make us food," Din said, sounding very sure and determined.

Darcy's eyes narrowed.

He'd said himself that he wasn't very good at cooking, which is why she'd done most of it. Sure he could make a mean sandwich and grab her snacks, but they didn't have an open fire for roasting, and that had really been the extent of his cooking, aside from heating up broth or giving her ration meal packs.

"You'll make us dinner?" Darcy asked, voice sounding a bit unsure.

Din's lips turned up, like he was amused by her reaction. "Yes," he nodded. "Was there something you wanted?" He asked, eyebrows knit together as he listened intently.

Darcy thought about it for a second. She was tired, and if he wanted to try to make dinner, that was fine. She knew he'd make sure she had something to eat, even if it ended up just being a sandwich and some cut up veggie sticks; anything was better than nothing.

"Noodles," she finally announced.

Noodles sounded amazing, and she'd picked up some on their last store trip. She hadn't decided on how she would cook them and really didn't care about how they'd be prepared.
