It had been a week since the party. I hadn't seen or heard from Tom since then which had turned out to be quite a nice change. I'd used that time to focus on myself a little more when I wasn't working, going to the gym, meeting up with Michelle and my parents. It helped that I'd also had my audition for Six. It was a new musical that was coming to London at the end of the year and I had been super excited to give it a go for a part. I wasn't due to hear back for a while now, so I was able to put that to the back of my mind as well and really focus on the kids while, especially Lilly while Daniel was at school.

It was the Saturday morning and I emerged from my room and shuffled into the kitchen, bleary-eyed and ready to start cooking breakfast. I also needed some coffee pronto because I was planning to take the kids out on a trip to the zoo that day, which meant it would be long and I would require lots of energy to keep up with them. For breakfast, I planned to make scrambled eggs on toast for myself, alongside a tower of waffles for Lilly and Daniel. It was their favourite after all! As I was cooking, Sarah walks into the kitchen sleepily, dressed up in her best blouse and skirt and beats me to the coffee machine with her favourite mug. It had a picture of the kids pulling funny faces on, next to some words saying "We love you mummy" in a pretty pink font.

"Big day today?" I asked, it was very rare she would be this dressed up at the weekend, so I could only assume she had an important interview lined up for her next article she'd been writing.

"Indeed... sucks that it's on a bloody Saturday though" She groaned and flicked the switch on the machine, watching as it began to fill up her mug. "And I'm not likely to be home until late either" she added and rolled her eyes.

Sarah and Yakov both worked so hard, and I knew ultimately, it was so their kids had the best future ahead of them. They hardly spent loads of money and at the end of every month the two of them always deposited a sum of money into each child's savings account that they couldn't touch until they were eighteen. It was just such a shame the two of them hardly got to spend much time with them.

"Well either way I know the kids will be so happy to see you when you get home" I told her with a smile as she grabbed a second mug for me and began to fill that with some coffee too.

"Those two are so lucky to have you Ally. Yakov and I could not be more grateful to have you here to help" She replied and squeezed my shoulder gently. "You're basically part of the family now" She added softly. I could not be more honoured to hear those words come out of her mouth. Even a part of me was hoping I wouldn't get the part in the show just so I could continue to work for them. Those two kids were my whole world now and I couldn't bear to imagine not having them as a part of my life. "So I hear from Yakov, you and the kids are hitting the Zoo today?" she asked and I nodded eagerly with a smile.

"Yeah... they've asked if uncle Tom can come along, but I haven't heard back from him on that one yet so it may just be the three of us today" I replied, secretly hoping it would be exactly that. It had come to light in this past week that Miranda was staying in London for some time now, probably until the wedding (whenever that was), so it would be very likely that she would try to tag along too.

"Probably being forced to take princess Miranda to the spa or shopping or something" Sarah huffed, rolling her eyes and I couldn't hold back the giggle that escaped me at her remark. Tom's family really didn't hold back their dislike for his fiancé and I'm glad that I wasn't the only one who despised her.

"Do you really think he will marry her?" I asked, potentially pushing the boundaries a little, but I felt like Sarah would just think I was curious, which to be fair, I was. I had no motive this time, this wasn't about mine and Tom's 'Relationship', if you could even call it that.
