"sweetie" your mum says like you didn't hear anything. You ask why they are sending you away. They say that they don't want you there for the divorce and apparently you will make more friends. You were in year 7 and they think you care about making friends? In the Christmas holidays? When your parents are getting divorced?
You would go to camp in the summer but Christmas really? What sort of evil camp opens in christmas? And who would send their kids there?
You knew you couldn't fight back so you agreed to go but on the condition that you take 2 advent calendars with you and decorations to decorate your tent.
