“Rest Don’t Quit”
You might think of me as a dreamer
An ambitious one and a mere loser
But it doesn't matter to me, I don't care
For I cry pages not tears
I was once a kid who liked to read stories
But I prefer more on watching movies
Others chose to use imaginaton
While me, just look on the screen, there it's shown
It started on a single paper
An eleven year-old girl started to wonder
What if I use my imaginaton?
And have my own creation?
And there I have my first draft
Full of typos and not a good craft
But at least I enjoyed it and I tried
So look at me now, that hobby didn't die
They say it's worthless
I can't gain money and people's interest
Just a waste of effort and time
Yet, no one would take a look and know its sublime
But put in mind that others would judge you no matter what
So aim for your dreams and have a nice shot
The starting point is being underrated
Because I don't remember anyone who started being overrated
You will have a reader of one to two
Ten, hundreds, to thousands, you'll get it too
But for now, appreciate what you have
For a coin is needed to build a spacecraft
Being weary is a fragile chain
You can broke it and start again
Always remember you can rest
But never in your whole life quit
You write because you want to inspire
But there's a time when you want also to be inspired
Don't worry because they are there
You ask who? Of course your readers, dear
If you totally lose hope and courage
Just look at the sky and take a breath
Stars are able to shine even in the darkness
Of course you could also gleam because you are one of it
Yet, we can't deny that there are gloomy days
And you are told to hide and stay
"Hakuna Matata," because the storm will just pass by
To clear your path and the rainbow will appear again and will say "Hi!"
