"But I know."
"Oh I know."
"We'll meet again~"
"Some sunny day." the both of you echoed as the song came to a close. Cashier smiled and tousled your hair, playing with it's strands while you closed your eyes and rested your head on him, using him as a source of warmth from the brisk cool sky.
"Love you dear."
The last words you heard before drifting off into a slumber, the gentle rocking and cool breezes of the night lulling you to sleep.

Dummy set the table, sprawling out napkins and utensils as well as two cups on adjacent sides from one another, filling them up with bloxy cola. Cashier helped to pat down the tablecloth, making sure there weren't any wrinkles or visible bends. After that, he then lit a candle that sat on the center of the table, Dummy shutting off the florescent lights of the convenience store as the candle emitted a warm glow from the center of it.
"Perfect. Thank you Dummy. It really means a lot." Cashier stated, smiling and looking at the candle, his pupils dilating.
"It's really no problem, Cashier." Dummy replied, looking at the table a final time before looking back at Cashier.
"Anything else I could help you with?" Cashier thought for a moment before nodding.
You sat on your couch, after waking up from your night spent with Cashier. You recalled it fondly as the moments played back in your head, you getting flustered every time you did. You then seemingly heard a knock on the door and got up to go check it, hoping Player's dad was kind enough to let you go free and not have it be the cops. When you opened the door, you sighed in relief and smiled as you saw Dummy standing there.
"Hi Dummy! Whatcha' need?" You asked before Dummy just stated,
"Follow me."
And so you did. Dummy and you walked down the street, past the benches and past the sewer grate, towards the convenience store. Confused, you didn't say anything and just kept walking until you walked to the outside of the store and noticed a glowing orange-ish tint from the inside with the lights all off. Curious, you walked towards it and Dummy ran past you, opening the door for you as you stepped inside. You saw Cashier sitting at a table that was set up to dine and he looked at you, waving awkwardly.
"Uh, hi- Cashier. What's- all this?" You asked, sitting down, astonished as the atmosphere the candlelight had created lured you into a sense of safety and relaxation.
"Oh! Well, uh- I figured we never had officially gone on a proper date. And with us almost dying- I just never really know how much longer I'll have with you so! Uh, I planned a date for us! Of course, with the help of Dummy." You smiled and giggled as you looked at Dummy who waved and smiled at you.
"Thank you too, Dummy." You stated. Dummy then left, feeling like a third-wheel and walked back into the void, watching from his television to see how the date would go.
"Are you hungry?" Cashier asked you. You thought for a moment.
"Actually, yeah. I am." You responded. Cashier then excused himself and looked all over on the shelves before finding an orange and a package of cookies after forgetting you actually need to have food prepared after setting the table. He walked back and handed you an orange, sitting back down and beginning to open the cookie package, which he struggled with. He finally managed to get it open and you both ate, awkwardly thinking of what to say, trying to break the silence.
"So, politics-"
"No." You responded before giving him a lighthearted chuckle and humming, looking around at the dimly-lit store.
"Sure is a nice date, I don't know how you managed all this." You spoke.
"Ah, well, it was mostly Dummy who accumulated all this stuff." He replied, taking a bite of his orange. The two of you continued to eat before you became full, shoving a cookie in your pocket for later. Cashier had seemed to be full too as he didn't take anything else. While you both just sat there, looking down at your plates, you then turned to the window to stare out into the moonlight. You noticed the vending machine on the sidewalk and then looked back at Cashier.
"Wanna head outside?" I'm sure the breeze is lovely." You suggested. Cashier stood up and pushed in his chair, nodding and smiling. You then grabbed the candle and pushed the door open, holding it open for Cashier and walked out with him.
Starting to walk down the street, you and him climbed up a steep street that had no-clipped into the air. You then noticed a tree in the distance and thought of an idea.
"Hey, hold this." You told Cashier, you then walking back towards the tree at the end of the street and carefully jumped onto it, latching your arms on one of it's branches and pulling yourself up. Cashier watched you and smiled when he saw you safely made it up there, relief overcoming him in the back of his head. He then sat the candle on the ground and walked towards the tree, jumping onto it as well and pulled himself up, perching himself right next to you.
He gave you a peck on your lips and smiled as he swung his legs back and forth, looking out into the wave of trees below. You kissed him back, him getting flustered before giving a meek smile and hugging you once more.
"You give the best hugs."
"Thank you, (Reader)."
The two of you sat for a little longer in silence, finding comfort in one another before you then turned to him and spoke.
"Hey, could you do me a favor?" Cashier nodded.
"Anything, dear."
"Can you please try and stop smoking for good? I know you're really trying but I don't think you'll ever truly quit at this point." You admitted, feeling a little guilty but better you got it off your chest.
"I'm sorry, I didn't even realize it bothered you that much. I'll quit, (Reader)."
"Promise me." He laughed.
"Alright, I promise, Skates." You smiled and hugged him.
"Thank you." You stated, beginning to kick your feet back and forth now.
"So, what did you wish for?" You asked Cashier who smiled in return.
"Ah, I wished you and me would live for a very long time." You crooked your head.
"And why is that?"
"Because I want to be able to stare at your face for as long as I can, love." You choked up, flustered.
"Smooth. Really smooth." You admitted, Cashier pecking you on the face once more and chuckling to himself as the both of you continued to look out into the night sky from atop the tree branch.
