The yellow man was dizzy. He opened his eyes to find pitch darkness around himself as he then shot up and frantically searched around, wondering where he was. He continued to do this before noticing something right in front of him. A table. He felt as if he had seen that table somewhere in his life. But he couldn't remember when. And there was a television on it too. With milk and a- cheeseburger? Did someone live here? Was he dead? No, he took his pulse but didn't feel anything. Was this hell? Would he suffer eternal damnation? What was this place? And- where was everybody?

He felt around on his head and noticed he felt a dent. He couldn't have been dead. He was here. Wherever he was that is. He began to walk around, closer to the table, slowly. He the stopped as he heard a voice so familiar it stopped him cold in his tracks. He turned around to see it was coming from Dummy who stood there, motionless.

"Dummy! Dummy- what happened? Where am I? Are you even real? Is this another dream? Am I in a coma? Is this hell-?" Cashier bombarded Dummy with so many questions at once he got a headache. Nonetheless, Dummy sighed and calmly began to speak.

"Well, you're not in hell. You're in my void. But you're not exactly- alive. You're uh- dead. You're stuck in limbo. This is where people go when they die seeing as how we're all just coding." Dummy explained. Cashier felt a lump in his throat as he internally cringed, remembering what he had done previously. Him hitting the pavement below. And all the blood he saw right before he died. And- and. The cracks. And even a small plant that grew from the sidewalk, blooming new life as his fizzled out in a matter of moments.

"Dummy- I"

"How'd you die? Where'd you go? (Reader) missed you dearly." Dummy stated coldly, feeling a little hurt himself that Cashier just got up and left without letting anyone know.

"Well- I-"

"You were in the city, weren't you? How's that holding up?" Dummy asked, cutting Cashier off.

"Oh, well. It's actually pretty normal up there. The coding isn't chipped at all."

"That would be from me. Since I had to get assets needed for your little date with (Reader), I also had to find a way to import them into the games files, thus creating the city and everything along with it." Dummy admitted.

"Well, why aren't you over there taking care of it then?" Cashier asked, tilting his head.

"Well, they're basically NPC's just like us. Only they're unaware of everything so they can manage on their own. Everything simply just makes sense in their eyes and they don't question it." Cashier nodded upon hearing this.

"I see. As for me- yes I was living in the city." Dummy motioned for him and Cashier to come sit down at their table on opposing sides as they talked between one another, Dummy offering up part of his cheeseburger to Cashier as he told the story to which Cashier happily took. He took a bite and looked around the void.

"Limbo, eh? Feels cold and empty."

"Thanks a lot, man." Dummy replied rolling his eyes. Cashier quickly tried to change the subject.

"So, (Reader)- how have they been?" Dummy shrugged and looked at the television that led into the world they lived in. He noticed you sitting there watching television, not feeling to great at the moment.

"Well- they fell into a depression right after you left. Truly hurt you just left without telling anyone. Especially them. They really, really miss you. And to be fair, I sort of did too." Cashier felt guilt rise up as well as a lump in his throat once more.

"Dummy- I'm sorry- I didn't know how greatly it would affect all of you. I meant to come back but- I just got used to livin' in the city.

"Well, I'm glad you're here, Cashier. But tell me, how did you die?" Dummy asked, wondering how his old friend went ahead and fell into the hands of fate.
