An unexpected finding in space

It was almost time to go and explore the cosmos. I got in the capsule, looking at the utter darkness of the walls. "10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1.. blast off, the bird has taken off." said the commander. Lub dub, lub dub, my heart started to beat faster than ever. The pressure pulling me down, the heat burning me into flames, my ears popping out. After an hour full of pain, I finally made it. The look was unimaginable. It was nothing like you see in the movies, it was nothing like you see in pictures. The planets and the stars are surrounded by gloom.

I had a mission to get back the rare dust from mars. No matter how long it took, and the obstacles I had to face, I had to complete it for my team, for my family and for my country. The rocket went dashing to the red planet at the speed of sound. Faster than a Black Bird. Faster than a Tuatara. Vaulting through the canyons I grabbed the dust from the volcanos. I leapt back to the ship, and I took one more glance at the orb and realized how lucky I was to get this one in a blue moon chance to explore the deeper part of the galaxy.

BUT at a moment, I saw something going around the earth. I reported back to the control centre saying, "I have spotted unusual moment of unknown objects orbiting the earth." I was given a task to explore it. It took me some time, but I made it. I took a closer look and was really disappointed in what I saw. They were travelling at a speed of 17,500 mph and so was I. As I was looking at what was happening, "ALERT!!..ALERT!!..ALERT!!" said the spaceship. There was a piece of metal that has damaged the ships fuel system, and without it, there is no way of getting back on earth.

I started clicking buttons and swiping the screen... I tried contacting the command centre, but the coms were all down. There was nothing left to do. I was levitating above the earth for more than an hour, I only had enough oxygen to last me 1 day and I was almost out of food. I knew these were my last words and was almost about to pass out but when out of the blue extended an arm and pulled me out of the spaceship and settled me into another one. I still didn't know who it was or how he got there, the next thing I know was that I was on a stretcher getting transported to the hospital.
