"Are you guys ready to rock!" She screamed, her eyes were pure blue and her long, dark brown hair flowed in the small, cold wind. "Yeah!" A few people in her crowd screamed. They were clapping along and sitting on each other's shoulder to see the stage.
The stadium was hot with everyone packed close together. This wasn't a small stage either, it held around 500-800 hundred people. That may seem small to some stages but we were in San Francisco, this was probably as big as we got.
"We're 'Loophole'! And we're here to put on a bada$$ show for you guys tonight, hit it!" She yelled, the drums roared and the guitar screamed, the bass grunged with a deep tone, and the mic screeched and echoed. The Marshall noise peirced the room as she strummed it like a b!tch.
"Do you guys know this song? Bet you do. Sing it! Don't be scared" she said with a graspy voice. Everyone did as commanded and started chanting, throwing their fists up and shaking their heads. "Yeah, just like that!" She bleeded over the mic, very voice loud and raspy.
She did one last strum before the song cut off, and everyone yelled and yapped and hollered at them. They were one of the greatest bands in the city. They're crowds would go crazy from starting hour to ending hour. "Goodbye you lovley f0cks! See you guys soon, I promise" she waved at her fans and left for backstage. The other members wished their fans goodbye and followed her. Their sneakers yelled on the hardwood stage floor.
The fans welled goodbye. They didn't leave for the exit until they all wasted the last of their budget on something. Once they finally left the hot stadium the clean up crew came to pick up the trash that was left and the bandaids came to take the instruments away (and put them in a van until the next show).
The band was getting in their ride home while listening to the buzzed radio and trying to avoid the outrageous mob. Mobs were terrible about leaving them alone. Once, they'd climb on top of the car and banging it with their fists.
The band had gotten used to it though as that only happened once and when it did, the police were called. So the mob was a little more calm. The band started to head for their apartment, leaving their thousands of fans in the stadium parking lot.
Once they got to their fancy apartment, they planted themselves in the lounge chairs next to the TV. "What a good show" she said while leaning her head on the top of the arm chair. "Yeah you played like a bada$$!" The bassist said to her. Her arms were crossed across her chest but she was smiling about the show. "Yeah you too" she responded. She ran her fingers through her long, dark hair. The drummer came in the room with a diet coke can and a crumpled 'Loophole' poster which had all their names and roles.
Clover - guitar and vocals
Lixie - bass
Vira - drums
Chrysta - guitar (everyone calls her muffy)
They were an all female rock band. "Tomorrow there's this band who has this hot bassist and I wanna see him perform" Vira yapped. The band was bored most days, especially after they'd just performed.
"Why not?" Muffy responded. Shoving some M&Ms in her mouth as Lixie turned on the TV. Tomorrow started the recording of their documentary which meant they were going to be followed by a mob of rocking fans, and the recording crew. Clover rolled her pure blue eyes, uncrossed her arms, and got up to go get some M&Ms of her own.
"Get me one too, babe!" Lixie shouted to Clover and her mix-matched socks on the kitchen tile floor. They weren't dating, they just called each other things like "babe" and "hot".
"Are you okay?" Lixie asked Clover. "Yeah I'm fine, I just don't want to be followed by some stalker camera people" Clover responded with her back towards Lixie and her hand reaching in the cabinet for M&Ms. "Don't worry about it, you'll be fine hottie" Lixie comforted, as Clover gave Lixie the M&Ms.
