THE BEGINING OF THE END

Lance's P.O.V.

    " Why am I like this?", "So damn pathetic" I say to the mirror in my room, I walk out with a smile on my face just waiting for what the universe has planned for me. As I was walking to the deck, I couldn't stop think about my family. And you might be thinking, " Don't worry lance, their on earth. safe and sound." Well I can straight up tell you that's bullshit, you see my family isn't all sunshine and rainbows, I may act like it, but then again I'm acting. I come from a family who's father was always drinking, having many affairs 'behind' our mothers back. I say it like that because he would openly cheat on my mother with many women. My father was very abusive toward my siblings and I, but my mother since I would never let him lay a finger on her. To skip to the chase, lets just say I'm the only McClain left.

     I walk into the deck to be greeted with the gang with Lotor and Allura geeking about Alteans. Now don't get me wrong, there is nothing wrong with them geeking about their people, but when its my crush talking to this white long hair dude it kind of irritates me. " Now that everyone is here, we ca-" Shiro got interrupted by the alarms going off. " I swear, its like the Galra likes to be annoying." hunk said while turning around to go to his lion. "Everyone, suit up!" Shiro yelled at us. we all ran to get ready then straight to our lions so we can enter the battlefield. While waiting for the go from Shiro or Allura, Coran spoke on the intercoms, " Be careful, the data is showing that Zarkon and his witch is near us, come back in one peace okay." he said in  a worried tone. For some reason my gut is telling me something bad is going to happen.

* SKIP TOWARDS THE END OF THE FIGHT *

    This battle was so easy we didn't even need to form Voltron, oh how wrong I was. There was only a few ships left when a portal popped up and out came a big ass ship with other drones coming  out of it. Before anyone could react, the lions turned off and we where being pulled towards the ship. " What the Quiznak is going on?!" we hear Hunk speak into the intercoms, a hatch was opened at the bottom of the ship. " Get ready guys" Shiro said. I got up from my chair and gripped my Bayard ready for the centuries we are about to fight. Something felt off about this ship, like Zarkon wasn't even on this ship, like wouldn't it be dumb to show up with one big ship if you were the 'ruler of the universe'? There was a big thud when we hit the floor. Reds mouth opened for me to walk out. I walk out with my gun ready, only to see crates, no centuries, just crates. I look around to see the other paladins with the same confused face, before I can take a step I felt a pinch on the back of my neck. I touch my neck only to be greeted by a dart. Quiznak. " Guys its a t-!" I couldn't finish my sentence before the darkness took over me. 

Allura's P.O.V.

    ' Ugh! Lotor is so annoying, but sometimes cute. But not as cute as Lance is, I need to ask lance about his skin care routine' I thought while Lotor is talking about Alteans. Don't get me wrong, I appreciate how he talks about my people with passion but he needs to know that we are going against his father and we need him to give us any detail about his father and the rest of the empire. " Now that everyone is here, we can-" Shiro began before the alarms went off. I look to see Lance turning around to his respective lions. Before I could leave as well I felt a hand on my shoulder, " be careful Allura" Lotor said with a gentle smile. I returned the smile and nodded.

** SKIP TO WHEN THEY ARE WAKING UP FROM THEIR LIL' NAP**

     I slowly open my eyes to see the paladins waking up as well, " Where are we?" I asked. " Inside the ship I think." Shiro responded, trying to sit up with pidge's help. "Guys, where's Lance?" Hunk asked while looking at each one of us in the eyes, as if we had the answers. I look around to realize he wasn't here as well, ' calm down, they probably have him in a different in a different room since this is a small room, or he escape and him, Coran, and Lotor are trying to get us.' I said to my self to ease my nerves down. " We need to find him" I said looking at Shiro since he is the leader. "First we need to get out of this cell. Second, we find Lance. Then, get the hell out of here." He stated, both me and Shiro looked towards Pidge and Hunk. " I still thinking about that weird magnet they used on us so its a no for me on the first step." Pidge said with a scrunched up face. We all looked to our next suitor, Hunk, " I'll try, but no promises." He sighed and went up to the door.
