• Chapter Two •

After going back and forth between jokes and talking about what you do. Eventually you hit the hour and a half mark of recording. "This has been going on for a while now, wow." Ted says as he checks the time. "Alright boys, anything you wanna say before we wrap this up?" He asks. "Yeah, when's the Andrew Cuomo gonna suck my-" Schlatt asks as he gets interrupted by Charlie. "Thanks everybody for listening to this weeks episode of chuckle sandwich. Tune in next week for another crazy episode. And we'll see you later!" He says spastically trying to talk over Schlatt. After a couple shared laughs between the four of you, they finally end their recordings. "Alright well, thank you so much guys, I gotta get going to record some stuff with Condi. It was nice meeting you (Y/N)!" Charlie says, "You too Charlie, have fun.". Schlatt also makes his exit saying he has to record stuff with his buddy Mizkif, so he exits promptly leaving you and Ted.

"Minecraft?" He asks. "Hell yeah." You reply with a small laugh. He smiles back at you. "You're very pretty you know? This is my first time seeing you, and I wanted you to know that." Ted says as he's looking away from the camera, probably trying to open Minecraft. You do the same while blushing. "Uh-uhm. Thank you. Sorry I dont get compliments a lot so I'm always caught off guard. But uh- you're very handsome." You quickly reply, trying to hide your nervousness. "Thanks, I appreciate it. And no worries." He says sweetly, looking into the camera this time with a smile. You couldnt help but smile along with him.

We're you really falling in love with a man you just met? 'He's only being nice, stop jumping to conclusions.' You think to yourself. Surely he couldn't like you, the both of you just met only a couple of days ago. After loading into Minecraft you finally come back to reality. You immediately walked over to your farm to harvest crops as you see Ted sprinting over to you from the neighboring mountain. "I have a surprise for you." He says with a smirk. "Oh god, it better be good Theodore." You say using his full first name. "Well that's a first, but yeah. I promise it's good." He replies with a small giggle. "That giggle sounded menacing, so I dont know if I can believe yo-" You say as Ted finally catches up to you. He immediately throws down a diamond block. "Ted. I can't accept this, wha-" You begin as Ted interrupts you by running away. "You have to now. Cause I'm not talking it back!" He says laughing as you begin to run after him. "You son of a bitch! Get back here and take the thingy!" You reply. This banter goes back and forth till you run out of food in your hunger bar.

"Alright Nivison. You win this one. But only because I ran out of food." You say heading over to a innocent pig and killing it for raw pork-chops. "Good cause I gotta get back to my house. My iron ore is probably done smelting after that goose-chase." He replies.

After some more small talk and running around in minecraft, you feel your body getting tired. You yawn right as your about to speak, "Alright chief, I'm gonna get off for the night. I'm exhausted." You say exiting the server. "Alright, sleep well. Text me in the morning okay?" Ted says smiling into his camera. "Of course, like I do every morning." You say while also looking into the camera. After saying your goodbyes, you shut off your computer and gather your things. Finally heading to bed after such a long day. You lay down in your bed and plug your phone in, seeing that you have an unread message on discord. Of course it's from Ted. "Oh btw remind me that I have something to tell u tomorrow morning. Anyways, sleep well :)" You shook your head with a smile. Placing your phone down on your nightstand and turning over. Drifting into sweet unconsciousness.

The faint sound of your alarm clock began flowing through your ears as you stirred awake. You groaned as you hit the snooze button. Laying back down so you could get an extra five minutes of sweet slumber... Only to be interrupted by your phone going off. You looked at it and saw it was an unknown number calling. You picked it up, assuming it was one of your customers.
After sitting on the phone for an hour, listening to a customer complain about shipment of an order they never placed. You set your phone down and stared at the ceiling. Hopefully your day wouldn't get worse than this.

A couple of hours pass and you were working on some of the orders you had today. It finally dawned on you that you never texted Ted back. You stopped what you were doing and grabbed your phone.

Holy shit I'm so sorry I forgot to text you. This morning had me fucked up lmao. We can call rn if you want, I'm just doing some orders right now but I can multitask.

Shortly after your text to Ted, you heard your phone ring. You accept the call right away. "Heyoo." You said. "Heyoo, glad to know your alive atleast." He said chuckling slightly. "So what had you fucked up this morning?" He asks. "Alright so. My alarm went off, and I wanted to snooze it so I could get an extra five minutes of sleep right? Well my phone goes off and- shit I got stuff on my table. Sorry anyways, my phone went off and some lady started complaining about the shipment of an order she never even placed." You began. Ranting about how this stranger's behavior was, how exhausted you were, and how it ruined the flow of your whole day. "That's also why I forgot to text you today. Had me so messed up." You say, "Now that I'm done rambling, what did you want to talk to me about Ted?" You ask while you finish up an order. "Oh yeah right uh..." He starts, seeming nervous.

"Well, there's a convention coming up. It's VidCon but, I wanted to go cause I haven't been at a Con since the pandemic. And I wanted to know if you wanted to go?" He asks. You pause what you were doing to think about it. "I'd pay for your ticket if you wanna go. No big deal to me." Ted offers. "Oh Ted you don't have to do that. I can pay for a ticket. I just need to know the basics, like when and where." You say. "Of course. So that's a yes?" He asks. "Duh. I actually get to meet you so why wouldnt I go. Are Schlatt and Charlie gonna be there?" You question. "I dunno I havent asked them yet. But uh yeah, that's all I wanted to ask. I can let you get back to your work now." You hear him shuffle around on the phone. "I mean I dont mind being on the phone and working. But if you need to record a video or something then that's fine if you need to go." You reply as you wipe your hands off on a towel. "I didn't plan on doing anything today besides probably binge watch something on Netflix. So I can stay and chat if you want." You begin to smile widely. "Well, while were here. Might as well get to know each other more right? I don't even know what your favorite color is." You chuckle. "Sure. Let's get to the nitty gritty." He says jokingly. There's something about him that just makes your world feel brighter.

Howdy. This took a lot longer to write. But I hope that you enjoyed this chapter. I really dont know what i have in store for this book yet, I'm goin with the flow and improv-ing it. So bear with me.
