Light pollution turns the sky a strange color when there's enough cloud cover. Most of the time it's a dark pink, almost red and not quite purple. This eternal twilight is extremely disconcerting to me for several reasons. The first is that I'm never entirely sure what time it is, and the second is that my work is best done in the blackest of nights, the darkest dark.
In this perpetual state of color that light pollution causes to occur on cloudy nights, the silhouettes of trees are like black blurs scratching at a pink background. Where I live, these nights don't happen all that often; not because the weather yields clear, starry nights, but because most of time there aren't enough lights to pollute the sky. Sometimes the power will go out for hours at a time, every so often for days. But at night the power is almost always switched off. I don't complain. As previously mentioned, the dark of night is one of my close companions; alongside chaos, confusion, and fear. Oh and my "companions" and I have a lot of fun together.

FantasyThis is not actually one story and that's not actually a name but here is where I'm just gonna write a bunch of scenes for different stories. Yeah. Feel free to comment or give me ideas (of which I seriously need) or critique or whatever. Thanks bros
