This story of Three, existing somehow

Mona walks fast. Today she is walking faster than her usual walking speed. She received a phone call while at the Sweet and Spicy Bakery store, the phone call from her darling daughter Nitu.

Ma, come home now! Her daughter yells with tears clouded inside the little seven-year-old's throat.

What's wrong, Nitu?

You come now! Baba is furious at me.

Have you done anything wrong?

No! You come! Now!

Ok! Ok!

A father. A father has a daughter of seven years. What's wrong with the father? Can't he love? Can't he hug his little one? Can't he sing his little daughter to sleep? Mohan abandons her, for what? Abandons her in search of happiness? Leaves her alone in search of pleasure? In search of peace?

She is after all his daughter when Nitu's time will come to be sent away to another family, Mohan will behave ready and act perfectly, but now leaving Nitu and slapping on her face when she wants to read and write a poem tonight taught in her class, and given to her as an important homework. A father kicked his daughter out of the room to stop hearing her loud crying voice, the pain of hers stuck in her chest.

Ma! Ma!

Nitu runs to her Ma, hugging Mona's waist and sobbing loudly.

Come now! Mona says. He won't hurt you anymore. Ma is here now. Come, come.

Arre, Mona! The old lady next to Mona's rooms lives next to Mona's family since Nitu has come into her world. She is old and with a broken backbone but adores Nitu like her granddaughter. Arre, O Mona!

Ha, Mashi?

Mona knows what advice is waiting for her. But Mohan can't be changed. He is an unchangeable man. Sometimes Mona thinks, was Mohan being abandoned by his parents? Why doesn't she know about them? And why hasn't she got the chance to see them?

Take care of your little one. She is a princess. Nitu will bring prizes and chocolates for you one day. How will you feel then, if now you two leave her and ignore your such a sweet little princess?

Sorry, Mashi, it will not happen again.

Ma. Nitu whispers something, Mona hears it not. The little one tries to show the door of their room, she is scared, the little one is scared, Mona grabs her daughter's hand and drags her inside.

Ma! Ma, no! He is very angry. Baba won't like me. You go inside. I must stay outside on the bench.

Stop Nitu. Behave like a bold girl. You have to fight. If you have to live, you have to fight. Nobody lives in comfort, everybody fights to have comfort. Come in.

They enter the sitting area. Mona sees a bottle and a broken bottle lying on the floor. The broken bottle must have fallen off his hand, it's empty and so is the other bottle. And there on the single bed in the seating area, her father, her husband, their family man lying like a dead man, snoring.

They sigh. In tiptoeing, they cross him, mother, and her child of seven years for the night of today's safe now in their one-bedroom apartment, eating rice with egg curry and potato fries. Mother and daughter hugging and trying to fall asleep. The mother asks what her daughter wishes to be in the coming years.
