5 years ago today Trolls was released in theaters for us Americans (and apparently for other countries too from what I've seen today-)

Alright who wants to hear the story of how I fell in love with this franchise??

Ok it's time to go back to when the very first trailer for Trolls came out (I'm too lazy to find the actual date)
So I saw the trailer and....
I had literally no interest in watching it sorry guys🤷♀️
My first thoughts of the trailer was that it look like a cringy kids movie-
TODAY I SOOOO REGRET MY OG THOUGHTS WHAT WAS 10 YEAR OLD ME THINKING😭
Flash forward to end of November
I went to the theaters with my mom and my cousin for my birthday (I think??? I don't remember why we went that well all I remember was it was for some occasion and we went the week after my birthday soooo)
Our og plan was to see Moana (we went on Moana's opening weekend) but the movie was sold out
And 11 year old me wanted to see a movie so bad that I had no other choice but to see Trolls and lemmie tell ya I wasn't happy ab it but I sucked it up and saw it anyway
And that was the best decision of my life
I absolutely LOVED it
I remember walking out of the theater and telling my mom:
"Poppy and Branch are gonna make a cute couple"
⬆️That folks is the start of my broppy shipping
I remember being obsessed with the soundtrack for the longest time-
Fast forward 1 year later with Trolls Holiday
I literally had no idea that was a thing until a week before it came out, I just saw the trailer on tv one night and ofc I was excited
I remember dying of laughter when Poppy broke into Branch's bunker, being surprised when Poppy left Bergen Castle in tears cause at that point, we have seen her upset but not crying, and I was also mad that Poppy and Branch's relationship was fRiEnDs cause I was soooo confident that they became a couple-
Then ab a month later I find out that a trolls series is going to Netflix
Something else I had no idea existed until a trailer was released-
And for 2 years I had watched and fallen in love with the show
Now fast forward to June 2019 (OMT I ACTUALLY REMEMBERED A DATE-) when I found out that Trolls was getting a sequel
ISTG I ALWAYS FOUND AB THESE THINGS THROUGH TRAILERS-
Look I had no idea the fandom even existed until late 2019, I mean I knew that there were fandoms for other movies, tv shows, etc, but my stupid 14 year old self didn't even try to look to see if Trolls had a fandom until I accidentally stumbled upon it
And since then I've been been following the fandom around (omg that sound so creepy💀)
Also that's when I found out that Trollstopia was a thing
Anyways back to world tour-
I remember be so excited and always telling my mom that I wanted to see it opening weekend
But that never happened for oBvIoUs ReAsOnS-
But instead I saw it the day it came out (ty VOD🙏)
And let me tell u I loved it more then the first
When I tell u I cried during Poppy and Branch's fight and Perfect for Me-
And I screeched when Broppy was confirmed like I'm pretty sure my fam thought I was crazy
Which I am-
And now to November 19th, 2020 when Trollstopia came out
MY FAVORITE LATE BIRTHDAY GIFT😭😭
It literally came out the day after my birthday
Absolutely LOVED IT SMMMM
And then end of January when THIH was announced
I WAS IN THE SHOWER AND WHEN I FOUND OUT I SCREECHED SO LOUD AT THE PICTURE THAT MY FAM WAS DEFINITELY 100% SURE I WAS CRAZY-
And the plot

I WAS ON THE FRIGGEN BUS WHEN I READ THE PLOT FOR THE FIRST TIME AND I COULDNT SCREECH-

Now we get to more recent stuff:
April 3rd, 2021: I posted my very first video on YouTube and that's the day I officially joined the fandom🎉
And May 19th, 2021: The day I joined Wattpad
And now here we are, 3 weeks until THIH's release date, and still waiting for a trailer😄
ANDDD NOW HERE COMES THE SAPPY STUFF
The past 7 or so months I've been in this fandom have been some of the best of my life, I just hit 100 subs on YouTube and 30 followers on Wattpad (which might not be a lot but hey, I'm not complaining)
I cant thank u guys enough💖💖💖
And I was lucky enough to make some amazing friends here
Guys, even tho we may not know each other irl ur all still amazing friends to me and I'm so grateful I have u guys in my life, so ty💖💖💖💖💖💖
The fandom may have their ups and downs, but I still love it regardless, and I'm not leaving anytime soon
