I've always admired the moon,
But you make the silver ball more beautiful
When you make its glow light up your face

I've always found
Monsoon season to be pleasant
But you make the rains more beautiful
When you let the water play with your hair
___
Lighting up irises with hues
Of gold and coffee.
Every time you
turn to me,
Every time you
reach out to me,
You create a beautiful pit in my heart
But even more beautiful
are the craters on your cheeks
When you smile.

I have always basked
In the sun
But you make
the radiant star more beautiful
When you let it's
glow sit inside
Your eyes
