"Soon.. Before I join election campaign.. We will go somewhere.. Happy?" She smiled. He smiled back.

"Okay go back to sleep.. I will just study these points." She said.

"No.. Ice cream khate hai.. Chalo.." He stood up.

"Ranveer i don't have time.." She replied.

She rolled her eyes and followed him.

"Which flavours we have in our fridge.." Ranveer opened the fridge.

"I only eat black current." She said.

"I knw my love.. Here it is.. Black current ice cream" He came up with a container and two spoons.

They started eating. Ranveer kept talking. Sameeksha was quiet.

"What is it Sameeksha..?" Ranveer touched her cheek.

"Ranveer.. Take care of the house if I go somewhere.." She suddenly said.

He gave a confused look. "Are you again going for tour?"

"No.. It's just that.. I have these vibes.." Sameeksha felt uneasy.

"What vibes.. Just tell me everything" Ranveer ordered.

The cook of the house came there in half asleep state.

" Sameeksha madam.. Police commissioner is here." He informed.

"It's fucking midnight.. Why is he here?" Ranveer was shocked.

"They are here to arrest me.." Sameeksha told with straight face.

Ranveer felt the world stopping.

Sameeksha adjusted her dupatta and dress. She took Ranveer's hand and came out.

"I am so sorry madam for coming at this time.. But we have arrest warrant.." Police said.

"I need some time officer.." She said.

"Yes ofc.." Officer agreed.

She again took Ranveer's hand and took him in bedroom.

"What is happening Sameeksha" He was now angry.

"Emergency is imposed Ranveer.. Now all the opposite party leaders will be arrested.." Sameeksha told.

Ranveer dropped his jaw.

"Emergency.. Yahi hona baki tha.. Ab toh kahika nai raha hamara desh.." He said.

"I have to go with them.. And you have to take care of everything.. You are my husband.. They will keep close watch on you and our family.. Keep them safe.. I love you Ranveer.. But for me.. My duty comes first.." She cupped his face.

Ranveer wiped his tears.

Sameeksha hugged him tightly.

" I am going for at least 6 months.. Plz miss me.. And wait for me.. "She said.

" No.. I am marrying someone else.. "He said.

She chuckled." Main bhi dekhti hoon kaun tumse shadi karta hai.. "
