Wonder 25: Aftermath

Encounter with the wonders is surely tiring. Tamad akong naglalakad sa hallway habang iniiwasan ang mga taong busy sa paglalakad.
The school festival will happen a day after tomorrow anyway.

"Raisha!" I looked at the one who called me. It's Stella. I smiled and waved my hand to her. I'm glad she's okay now. I'm also glad that she doesn't remember what happened None of the student council remembered what happened too. Azi altered their memory after all.

"Papunta ka na ba sa klase mo?" tanong niya.

"Oo bakit?"

Bigla nitong iniwas ang tingin at tsaka may kinuha sa kaniyang bag. She handed me a rectangular small box painted with blue color and has a white ribbon. Regalo niya ba 'to sakin?

"Thank you!" saad ko nang abutin ito.

"H-Hindi para sa'yo 'yan..." biglang nawala ang ngiti sa aking labi nang marinig ito.

"P-Para kay R-Rei sana...hehe,"

"I heard he was the one who took me to the infirmary."

"Thank you." I genuinely thanked her.

Naghiwalay na kami dahil may gagawin pa daw siya para sa school festival na mangyayari sa isang araw. I should get ready too because I'll be performing on the last day of festival for closing ceremony. Bakit nga ulit ako kakanta? ｡:ﾟ(;'∩';)ﾟ:｡

Umiling ako at dumiretso sa canteen. Seven o'clock pa lang ng umaga kaya doon ang diretso ko. I can finally have a breakfast with peace.

I ordered salad paired with sandwich and a coffee. I want to have a heavy meal but they don't serve it unless it's already lunch time.

Once they served I dig in.

Matapos kumain ay napag-isapan kong dumaan sa library. Pwede namang hindi pumasok ngayon dahil wala din namang teachers na magtuturo. They're also busy preparing for the festival.

I can't contain the excitement I feel whenever I'm thinking about the festival. Japanese themed daw kasi ito since Kaden High is inspired on Japanese schools.

I heard that you'll even wear yukata whenever you want during the festival. Even strangers are welcome inside Kaden High to experience the festival. I should tell it to Mom later so they can visit me. I badly want to see them too especially Ethan.

Good thing that the library is now opened. Last time I went here I waited outside for an hour because the librarian is still not here.

I went inside, I think I'm the first one who came here. The librarian seems busy to what she was doing, she didn't notice me. I shrugged and climb up to the stairs.

Dumaan ako sa likod ng painting na dinaanan namin noon. Agad akong napasimangot nang maalala kung anong kabastusan ang ginawa sa akin ng multong 'yon! ತ_ತ

Nang marating ang pinto ay saglit akong natigilan. It's unusually quiet. Sa tuwing dadaan kasi ako dito, hindi mo pa nabubuksan ang pinto ay may bubungad na agad sayong ingay. But now I don't hear any.

Nilapit ko ang katawan sa pinto at dinikit ang tainga. Pinakinggan kong maigi ngunit wala akong marinig. Inayos ko ang sarili at dahan-dahang binuksan ang pinto. Nang tuluyan ko nang nabuksan ay rumehistro ang pagkalito sa aking mukha. What are they doing?
