your walk with albedo was peaceful as always, which was something you needed first thing in the morning as you weren't really fond of them. and now that your mornings would be spent walking with him, it gave you something to look forward to.

halfway through your walk you encountered some fun little cats playing around with eachother up ahead. this certainly was an opportunity you couldn't pass up as doing so simply wasn't an option

without missing a beat you grabbed his hand and dragged him with you to slowly approach the 2 cats up ahead without trying to scare them away
they seemed to be stray, but were friendly and comfortable so the both of you bent down to pat them more easily. running your hand through one of their fur it seemed quite soft for being a stray, so you guessed that people in the neighbourhood looked after them to a certain extent as well.

albedo "they so are" "both of their furs aren't matted either, the people here must take good care of them"
y/n "right? i thought so too" "sigh, i really wish i had a cat, but our smelly apartment complex doesn't allow pets"
albedo "i think they're neighbourhood cats, we could stop by this way often if you wanted to see them"

albedo "of course, we could bring them a few treats too" "not only does it make them like us more, but they'll also come back to this spot more too"

the two of you spent a little more time petting and taking pictures of the cats. they were just too cute the both of you lost track of time, not to mention you were still holding hands with albedo

for a majority of the journey your mind was going HAYWIRE, you were struggling to process the events of this morning let alone yesterdays as well. but looking at albedos hand in yours, then trailing up to his hair flowing in the wind you began to notice things you didn't before.
