Alex had hoped by going home and leaving Dan behind meant she could clear her head and her heart from the emotions that he always seemed to stir inside of her but she still felt restless she when she got home as she paced around her room before deciding to go out on a late night run to try and clear her head. There was something about running and drowning out her thoughts with music that always seemed to be her go to as she pinned a note to the door of her house to save Lucas and her mom from worrying about her being out so late. Somehow Alex found herself running towards the bridge in tree hill which was her usual running routine as she took a moment to catch her breathe and to think. She knew she couldn't trust Dan's sudden interest in her as she tried to remind herself who Dan was and what he had so far to as she knew she couldn't afford to crumple and let him win. Alex was soon pulled out of the deep thoughts when she saw headlight heading her way before she noticed someone coming out of the familiar looking red truck

^Alex's 1st outfit^
" hey..." Alex said as she relaxed a little when she saw the familiar looking teenage boy that she was in love with as she smiled as AJ headed towards her with concern filling his beautiful blue eyes
" hey" AJ said knowing he wanted to finish his boy toy night with his girlfriend despite the fact that she hadn't won him in the auction as he quickly wrapped his arms around her waist to bring her close
" how do I know I'd be here? I mean not that I'm complaining or anything" Alex said as she breathed his scent in as she suddenly felt calmer and felt comforted by just being near him
" I went by your place and saw the note you left, plus I know this is where you run... you okay?" AJ said knowing he had been worrying about all night since he knew the effect that Dan had on her
" I'm okay, I just needed to clear my head a little" Alex said knowing that the fresh air helped clear her head and helped her feel more at ease compared to the jitteriness that she felt before
" how was your night with Dan?" AJ said causing Alex to turn around his arms so that she could see the water beneath him as she leaned her head onto his chest as he rested his chin on her head
" exactly how you would expect it to be. It was filled with him trying to convince him to let him get to know me and that he didn't want to abandon me" Alex said full of hate and bitterness in her voice
" do you believe him?" AJ said after kissing her temple as he wished that he could have prevented her going with Dan as he wondered why the older Scott seemed certain on trying to mess with her
" if I'm honest, I don't know... on one hand, I get it. I'm his only daughter and I almost died in the accident that apparently made him realise who he's meant to be to me and Luke" Alex said allowing herself fo go there
" and on the other hand?" AJ said just pleased that she was opening up to him and not allowing it to build up inside of her waiting to explode since he knew that was a habit of hers that he hated
