Sixteen: Walk alone

Start from the beginning

Google translate is your friend though.

Sunghoon looked around at the walls around them as he set his bag down on the black leather couch in the center of the shop, finally freeing his shoulders, they were covered in neon lights and art. Obviously tattoo designs. He wasn't aware that the random door he opened while going through the depressing realization that he was part of the problem when it came to Sunoo, wasn't some food market or thrift store, but it could work. Tattoo shops were fun. He guesses, he's never exactly been in one though.

"Is there somewhere to eat near here?"

The man's eyebrow raised at the way he spoke into his phone and clicked a button that repeated them in a robotic voice in a different language. Then he just laughed.

"There is a Japanese restaurant like a mile away, and there is some dessert place a little bit down the right." He spoke, definitely not in Thai, watching Sunghoon's mouth drop "...I went to college in Busan, don't freak yourself out, kid."

"Oh okay, thank you!"

"You don't want a tattoo or anything before you go?"

Yeah, he knew it was a joke. It had to be by the tone he said it in. And the way he smiled teasingly, leaning onto the counter that was glass on the top, displaying various piercing jewelry. But Sunghoon distinctly remembers staring at all of Soobin's tattoos every day while he was staying at his and feeling amazed by them.

Soobin had nice tattoos. They were all mostly astrology-based, and he didn't really quite understand them, but he gets it. His cousin is very interested in the subject. And plus he never really did what other people were doing anyway, shown by how he literally gave himself them out of boredom.

"Actually yeah. Do you want to freestyle?"

Soobin was cool. Soobin also changed a lot. He seemed happier now. Sunghoon definitely always looked up to him. And he definitely was the slightest bit jealous of that ufo tattoo he had.

"...are you serious?"

"Yeah. How much will it cost?"

"Well If it's freestyle... hell, I'll do it for free. No one ever lets me freestyle."

"Bet."

So there Sunghoon was, three or four hours later, half naked and talking to a random guy about how he's been traveling the country with people he met in a gas station while an inked needle goes in and out of the skin on the side of ribs repeatedly, tracing out a design he hadn't seen yet. The guy said the spot was sensitive and hurt a lot, especially for people with no experience. But Sunghoon always found his waist area the prettiest part of him. Maybe cause no one had ever commented on it, so he got to form his own opinion, but probably because he found the rest of him rather average. Yeah people always said he was handsome and tall and stuff. But his waist and ribs were smooth and curved at the right spots. He just liked them and felt confident within them.

The guy was nice too. A lot of his friends lived in Korea and he was really funny. And he's one of those people who you can talk to like you've known each other them for years within the first few minutes of meeting. So naturally, with Sunghoon's new talking way too much about himself thing, they were at the spot where he was sharing his feelings and consoling in him about his situation with Sunoo.

"I mean yeah, you probably were projecting a little, but he does sound a tad bit too attached. You need to text him."

"I have texted him, he just never responds, and when he does it the next day or something."

"Is he always like that?"

"No, like I said he's clingy as hell."

"Maybe he has cancer."
