Chapter 12: Sleeping Together

Y/N and Miko are walking together, and Miko seemed to be looking for someone.

"Here." Miko said

Y/N looks to the side and saw a closed shop with a note saying,

"Away - Godmother Mitsue."

"Ah, she's still not back yet. Let's go back in another day." Miko said

"Yeah, sure." Y/N said

A ghost rises from the ground in front of Miko and Y/N. They both ignored it and Miko stopped on a pole while Y/N waits for her.

"I'm never gonna get used to this like you, Y/N." Miko said

"Me neither."

A man with a hat spooked the hell out of Y/N and Miko.

"Who are you?" Y/N asked

"Shindo Romm. Hahaha." Romm laughed

"Let's go, Miko-san. I'll treat you for dinner." Y/N said with a deadpanned face and holding Miko's hand

"Oh, wait. How about some tea for the three of us?" Romm asked

Y/N, Miko and Romm were standing in front of a vending machine beside a teashop and Romm just gave the two of them a can of red bean soup.

"My treat." Romm said

"This guy looks mad sketchy." Y/N said

"Miko and Y/N was it? How is your friend Hana doing?" Romm asked

"Fine, thanks." Miko said

"No matter how you look at it, he acts weird..." Y/N said

"So, have there been any developments?" Romm asked

"What development... Hey! You-! You're asking weird stuff to a highschool girl!" Y/N angrily said

"Oh, no, no Don't get the wrong idea. The whole shrine thing." Romm said

"Eh? What shrine thing?" Y/N tilted his head

"You were looking for Mrs. Mitsue earlier, weren't you? Right?" Romm asked

"H-How did..." Miko paused

"Oh, she never told you? I was the one who sent her this photo. You two were at a pretty tight spot. I was worried." Romm said, showing a picture of Miko and Hana at a shrine

"You know about the shrine?! Can you tell me what's going on?" Miko asked

"Eh?" Y/N just stood there dumbfoundedly

"Whoa, calm down. Mrs. Mitsue didn't tell you anything at all?" Romm asked

"I've got some time. How about we have a chat and tell your friend about what's going on too?" Romm asked

Y/N and Miko were walking home together after talking with Romm.

"Hey, Y/N. Should we bring Hana? I think we shouldn't." Miko said

"Yeah, we really shouldn't. It'll add a risk. Probably." Y/N said

"Let's go eat at my house. I found some chestnut pudding at a convenience store outside the city." Y/N said

"Sure." Miko smiled

Y/N and Miko were sitting in front of the T.V., eating chestnut pudding and some chips.

"Mmgh..." Miko was about to cry

Beside Y/N and Miko, were ghosts who were also watching and about to cry.

"Here. I can't finish it anymore." Y/N said, handing Miko his cup of pudding

Miko accepts the pudding while crying as they continue watching.

"Why... Why did every character have to die in the ending except... the main character... and the two couples to revive the world, but... his mission never ends... His goal is to end humanity when everything is going wrong... and start humanity again when everything is clean... as a God and protector against outsiders." The ghost said as the other ghosts nodded

"They just summarized the whole damn story." Y/N sweatdropped

"It's too sad!! Even if he killed his family!" The ghost screamed while crying

"Yeah!!! His dad was a badass too!" The ghost cried

"But, it's weird a 13 year old is a murderer. It's not valid to kill your friends too. Especially, family. Nothing is more important than family-" The ghost was cut off

"Shut up, damned Vin Diesel fan!" The two ghosts shouted

Y/N and Miko just sweatdropped at the three ghosts arguing.

"Ah, it started raining." Miko said

Y/N looks outside the window and it's raining heavily.

"I forgot my umbrella at school... andvif I remember correctly, you always leave your umbrella at school." Miko said

"Shit. I only have 1 bedroom. Even Naomi-nee and Naoko-nee slept beside me. There's nothing wrong with it... Unless you've never slept with the person before!" Y/N panicked

"You can stay here for the night, Miko-san..." Y/N said

"Are you sure?" Miko asked

"Yeah." Y/N said

"Okay, I'll just tell my mom." Miko said

"You can sleep in my bedroom, Miko-san. I'll just sleep at the living room." Y/N said

"No, I'll sleep in the living room." Miko said

"No, I will." Y/N said

"... I'm the guest, so it's normal that I should sleep in the living room." Miko said

"No, it's the other way around. You're the guest so you should be more privileged." Y/N said

Y/N and Miko stood in front of each other, menacingly.

"No, you're the owner and you should be more important-" Miko was cut off

"That's where you're wrong." Y/N said

"A guest is important." Y/N said

"A guest is as important as the owner and you should sleep with me like you do with your sister!" Miko said

"Eh? W-What?" Y/N blushed

"Yeah, you should sleep with me." Miko said

"No, where... Where did you find out I sleep with my sisters?" Y/N asked

"Your sisters told me." Miko said

"Those two-!" Y/N grew an irk mark on his forehead

"Think of me as your sister too. I can wash your back, cook food for you and cuddle with you like your sisters-" Miko was cut off

"Stop right there!" Y/N blushed deep red

"Wh-What am I saying?!?!" Miko screamed internally

"Fine! I'll sleep with you, just don't tell anyone about the things my sisters told you!" Y/N begged

"I-I won't!" Miko said

Lucky them, Y/N's bed was big enough for three to four people to sleep on.

Y/N and Miko were laying on each side of the bed.

"I'm going to sleep now, Miko-san. Good night." Y/N said

"Yeah, I'm going to sleep too. Good night." Miko said

At their feet, the three ghosts were eating tiny old man ghosts while watching the two.

"What show is this? The sex scene is taking too long."

"You erotic movie watcher! They're meditating!"

"You idiots. They're dead."

Y/N and Miko weren't asleep yet and heard their conversation. The two blushed and couldn't sleep as the three ghosts kept arguing loudly.

"Let us sleep in peace please..." Miko and Y/N said
