Chapter 2: New Friends

The next day, Y/N went to school and sat in his chair.

"L/N..."

Y/N looked in front of him and saw Miko.

"Yotsuya-san..." Y/N said

"I didn't know we were classmates." Miko said

"Neither did I." Y/N said

"It's probably because my presence is almost non-existent for not interacting with anyone..." Y/N sweatdropped

"Woah! L/N's your boyfriend?!" Hana said

Y/N looks at Hana and there were hands all around her body. Y/N's soul has left his body and he was now just a husk.

"No, no, I'm not." Y/N nervously laughed

"That's too bad. Both of you would've been a perfect match." Hana said

"... And you and that thing behind you aren't." Miko and Y/N said at the same time

"We're going to the clinic right now. Miko has anemia and scold her to take it seriously. She can get really sick if she doesn't take it seriously." Hana said

"Y-Yotsuya-san... take care of yourself too." Y/N said

"Yeah, right..." Miko said

"Well, we'll be heading to the clinic now." Hana said

"Wait, Yotsuya-san." Y/N called her

"What's wrong?" Miko asked

"Hand sanitizers work... on them." Y/N said, handing Miko a small bottle of hand sanitizer

"Thank you." Miko smiled and she left with Hana

The end of today's classes came and Y/N was writing his homework.

"L/N-kun!"

Y/N looked beside him and saw Hana with Miko.

"Let's go to Mrs. Donuts!" Hana said

"Huh?" Y/N looked at her

"Let's go eat some donuts. I thought you might want to have some friends since you rarely interact with anyone in the classroom." Hana said

"That's kinda mean..." Y/N said

"I don't mind." Y/N said

"Let's go then!" Hana said

"I'll just pack my things up." Y/N said, putting his things back in his bag

Y/N went to Mrs. Donuts with Miko and Hana.

When they arrived, a lot of people were lining up already. Y/N just walked behind Miko since he is always anxious in crowded place that's why he prefers to be alone at school.

"Man, there's so many people in there." Hana said

"I guess everyone's after the half price deal." Miko said

"Come on, L/N! Miko! We need to get in before they sell out." Hana said

"Y-Yes." Y/N said

Y/N and Miko followed Hana until Y/N noticed Miko was gone. He looked to the side and saw a line of ghost with Miko in the middle.

"Yotsuya-san." Y/N pulled her hand

"Huh?" Miko was flustered and confused

Miko looked at where she was earlier and was terrified. At the end of the line, the ghosts are being eaten by another ghost.

"I splurged and got ten mon de rings~" Hana sang while carrying a box

"L/N, I forgot what you got. What did you get?" Hana asked

"Just ten double chocolates and two cups of 24 donut pops." Y/N said

"Woah! You're eating that all by yourself?!" Hana asked

"No, I could give some to you two if you want. But I'm planning to take the double chocolate donuts home." Y/N said

"Feed me one, L/N!" Hana said

"Okay." Y/N said

Y/N took the small twok they gave him for the donut pops and fed Hana.

You probably know what twok I'm talking about. Fork. Threek. Twok. Onek. Just search it for context if you don't know. And it's not really a meat fork, just something that looks like it.

"This is delicious! I should've bought one cup too!" Hana said

"Haha, maybe next time." Y/N said

Miko just stared at the two with a deadpanned face.

"They look like an old couple." Miko said

"Yotsuya-san, do you want one as well?" Y/N asked

"I-I think so..." Miko said

Miko brushes her hair to the side and she opens her mouth.

"This... This looks awkward..." Y/N said as she fed Miko

"Meow..."

They looked behind them and saw a cat on a box at the side of the street.

"Oh my gosh, he's adorable~! Look at him! He's so tiny! What's wrong, little kitty?" Hana said while rubbing the kitten's head

Miko and Y/N looked closer and there was a ghost in the box.

"He's licking my finger. He's so cute, I can't take it!" Hana said

"Neither can we." Miko and Y/N said

"I can't believe someone would just leave him here. Maybe I should bring him home with me." Hana said

"What do you two think?" Hana asked

Y/N went home while Hana and Miko stayed at the park, looking for someone to take the kitten because Hana couldn't take care of it.
