After class, Yuna went to detention, it was her first time there actually and she wasn't expecting to see some of the other students there. Yeji was there, even Hyunjin, she thought that the twins caused some trouble but she shrugged it off. She then wrote down that reflection paper that Ms. Park was talking about and she quickly finished it.
Yuna then got her things and waited for her Chaeryeong unnie.
"Come with me unnie" Yuna said
"Where are we going?" Chaeryeong asked, confused
"Just come with me" Yuna said and held Chaeryeong's hand gently. The both of them went out of the room and Yuna dragged her out of the campus to a nearby ice cream shop. There was also a tteokboki stall
"Do you eat tteokboki?" Yuna asked Chaeryeong
"Sometimes" Chaeryeong said and Yuna nodded
They went to the stall and Yuna ordered two serving of tteokboki.
"Here you go unnie, you didn't ate lunch so you should eat now" Yuna said with a smile
"But Yuna, this is from your money" Chaeryeong said
"Its okay unnie, its my first allowance and I wanted to treat you anyways" Yuna said and Chaeryeong just nodded. She couldn't say no to Yuna anyways, Yuna wanted to fix things up with the both of them.
Chaeryeong started eating and Yuna smiled, she was happy to see Chaeryeong eating now especially knowing that the older hadn't ate lunch.
Chaeryeong had thoughts in her mind, a lot actually, what Abby said kept coming back to her. Does her mom and eomma really just use them for money? will they ditch them soon? Chaeryeong was debating, but she thinks her mothers won't ever do that, they love them too much... right?
"Unnie, are you okay?" Yuna asked Chaeryeong who was staring at the ground
"Y-Yeah" Chaeryeong said and sighed
"Hmm, come with me again" Yuna said as they threw the paper containers of the tteokboki. Yuna dragged Chaeryeong to the ice cream shop and bought ice cream for the both of them.
"You should eat this as well, to cool off your mind" Yuna said and handed the other ice cream to Chaeryeong.
"Thank you" Chaeryeong said and smiled
After eating at the ice cream shop, the two went back to the campus because for sure their parents were waiting for them.
Just in time, Chaeryeong's parents arrived.
"Well, I think I need to go, Thank you again Yuyu- I mean.... Yuna" Chaeryeong said
Yuna had a small smile on her face. She then went closer to Chaeryeong.
"You can call me whatever you want now unnie, don't worry" Yuna said and chuckled
"Really?" Chaeryeong asked and Yuna nodded, tears were forming again on Chaeryeong's eyes but she was smiling. She suddenly hugged Yuna tightly.
"I missed you" Chaeryeong whispered softly
"I missed you too unnie" Yuna said back
"Ryeong-ah, time to go" they heard
"Well, I have to go now Yuyu, see you on thursday" Chaeryeong said and went off.
Yuna just stood there, smiling like an idiot and watched the Sons car drive off. She was interrupted when someone flicked her forehead
"Stop standing there and smiling like an idiot" Ryujin said and laughed at her sister
"Ah jinja" Yuna said and started head locking her sister playfully. Ryujin just kept laughing and begged Yuna to let her go.
Yuna only let go when Nayeon and Jeongyeon called them. The two went inside the car along with Yujin. Yuna ended up sitting at the middle.
"So, did you used your allowance already Yuna?" Jeongyeon asked
"Mhm, and it was for a good cause" Yuna said proudly
"And what would that be?" Ryujin asked
"I treated Chaeryeong unnie tteokboki and ice cream since she didn't ate lunch" Yuna said
"Really? so you and Chaeryeong are good now?" Nayeon asked
"Yes mom" Yuna said proudly and it made the older ones chuckle.
"What's with your cast Yuna?" Yujin asked
"Oh, Chaeryeong unnie drew on it" Yuna said and smiled as she showed it to her sister.
"Cherries and strawberries?" Yujin asked
"I guess its Chaeryeong unnie's favorite fruit" Yuna said and Yujin nodded with a smile
"Yuna, should we play later?" Ryujin asked
"Sure unnie" Yuna said
"Eh, pabo, we have homework" Ryujin said and laughed at her sister
"We have? bummer" Yuna said and pouted
"Its okay, we can play video games after" Ryujin said and Yuna nodded
Nayeon and Jeongyeon were happy, now that the kids were all in good terms. Suddenly, Nayeon's phone rang.
It was all quiet but when Nayeon spoke...
"Yuna?" Nayeon asked on the phone, Yuna wasn't nervous, she didn't so anything that bad anyways
"Yes Jihyo, thank you, I'll tell her" Nayeon said and turned off her phone.
"What was that?" Jeongyeon asked
"Yuna caused trouble in school" Nayeon said and Jeongyeon just sighed. Ryujin furrowed her eyebrows, she thought of what Yuna could have done but then she chuckled after remembering what happened.
They reached their house and Nayeon, Jeongyeon and Yuna were at the living room to have the talk. Yujin and Ryujin were watching from the stairs tho, eaves dropping on them.
"Your Aunt Jihyo called, said that you did trouble again" Nayeon said
"It wasn't really trouble mom..."
"Then what?" Jeongyeon asked calmly
"Well, me, Yeji unnie and Lia unnie were going up to the lockers since I needed to get something and then I saw Chaeryeong unnie getting bullied. So I pushed off the girl and kind of talked bad about her" Yuna said
"Why do you need to talk bad about her?" Nayeon asked
"She bad mouted Chaeryeong unnie first tho" Yuna said and pouted as she looked down
"Who would bad mouth Chaeryeong? She's a sweet girl" Jeongyeon asked
"Abby and Rian kept telling her that she was just using her parents for money. She got adopted out of pity and they said that her real parents don't love her that's why they abandoned her. They also said that Aunt Mina and Aunt Chaeyoung would just ditch them soon" Yuna said, it kind of shocked Nayeon and Jeongyeon, they never heard anyone talked like that to an adopted kid
"Aunt Mina and Aunt Chaeyoung wouldn't be like that, right mom? eomma? you did told me that they love Chaeryeong unnie and Chaeyeon unnie so much" Yuna said as she looked at her parents
"Of course Yuna, they love them so much, same goes for you, me and your eomma chose you and Ryujin for a reason. We want to take care of you as soon as we saw you two. That won't make a difference if you're adopted or not. What matters is that we love you okay?" Nayeon said and and Yuna finally smiled and nodded
"But that doesn't mean you'll get out of your troubleness" Jeongyeon said
"What?! Eomma, come on, she basically saved Chaeryeong" Ryujin whined
"Yeah, please give Yuna a break eomma" Yujin said
"Fine, you girls go do your homework, and Yuna, keep an eye on your other arm, the doctor said it will be healed soon" Jeongyeon said and Yuna nodded
The girls then went off to do homework together and then played video games right after.
