Highlights tutorial

Making highlights imo are kinda hard to do! Here's how I do it! And again you do not have to do this if you prefer your way better which is fine!

I assume your image is already blurred and smudged. Add a new layer and set it to Add. Chose the pen (fade) brush and make the color white.

Draw a line and a small dot on these preferred areas.

If you are unsure how to draw it, this is what I mean!

In the end, you can always put more highlights if you want! ^^

Next use the Airbrush (Triangle) blur tool. Blur the highlight in the direction it is going.

It should be something like this

Then, do the same for the rest!

it should look something like this:

Go to filter and add gaussian blur to 23px.
it should be looking like this by now

add another layer and set it to Add. Do the same thing except the dots must be smaller and the liners must be shorter.

Do not add gaussian blur this time.

So far this is what it should look like. I also added a few more highlights here and there!

Next, add another layer and set it to add. Use the dip pen (soft) brush. Lower the size to about 2.7. Make small dots on the highlights. Make sure you do it the direction the highlights are going.

It should look like this!

This is optional, but add another layer and set it to multiply. Choose the airbrush (triangle) brush and select the color dark red. Lightly brush it over the nose and around to make it like blush.  If it looks like a lot, add lens blur to your preference!
