Chapter 4

Jimin smirked and put it down then he took the shower and dressed up for his work and lastly he went to his mother's room who was laying on her bed she was sleeping so he planted a kiss on her forehead, he stared at her for some moment his eyes got wet at the sight of his mother

how one disease can change a whole person, the brightest star of jimin's universe has went silent she barely talks. Only when namjoon cones, and mostly sleeps in her bed, he wiped his tear "I will save you mom" he whispered one last time before leaving for his work without eating breakfast he didn't feel like eating anything after looking at his mother's pale lifeless face

Jimin sat on his chair sighing in relief after checking his boss' schedule again he won't come to the office till the night because he will be busy visiting all the stores why visit yourself when you had so many workers he thinks to himself swinging in his chair "hard-working ass" he whispered with a roll of his eyes

He quickly finished all his work in two hours it was a lot since he had to do all the works of Hyunjin too. he sighed and stands up from his seat stretching his sore muscles that hurt from sitting for two hours only in one position he checked his fridge and he ran out of every drink since hyunjin wasn't there to fill it

He went to the kitchen for the staff of this floor that had a coffee machine and everything needed to eat he decided to make a coffee for himself "hi" a girl greeted him who was with a group of four people "hey" he bowed down greeting them formally "what brings you here don't you have your own?" One of the man asked bitterly

"It ran out of things since hyunjin is on his break" jimin ignored the bitterness in his tone and replied politely "do you need any help?" The girl asked with a concerned expression it was very fake but poor jimin couldn't see it because he always searches for positivity because maybe someone had taught him that

"No I've already finished my whole work thanks for asking" he gave her his sweet smile "how lucky I have to finish a lot of work and we had plans too but I think we have to cancel our plans now," she said in a pout and jimin being jimin "do you want any help?" Asked "ohh really!?? You will help me?"

She hold his hands in excitement "thank you" she plant a kiss on his cheek, jimin would be lying if he says he didn't cringe at her he quickly wiped his cheek smiling awkwardly he nods his head and left taking a sip from his coffee he sat on his chair as she walked in with a pile of files in her hands and her laptop he looked at her in shock

"Thank you so much you just have to type this all on the laptop and save it with a name of the file, I will be get going" she waved at him and left and swear to god jimin saw her smirking "bitch I was just asking for formality" he sighed looking at the high pile of files and started typing on the laptop

Jimin watched from his glass door as one by one everyone left the office, it's past his duty time but he haven't finished the work it's a lot for one person, he was about to give up in between but since he have to prove himself he decided to do it even if he has to spend the whole night in this office

Taehyung walked into the building all the lights were off, but the light coming out of the specific room caught his attention he shook his head thinking jimin forgot to turn off the lights he sat down on his chair after doing some of his work the light coming from the room only bothers him so he stands up and went to turn it off by himself

Taehyung opened the door of jimin's office and got shocked seeing jimin still working on his desk "what are you doing here?" His deep voice echoes in the empty office jimin slightly flinched at the sudden voice that sounds like a possessed demon because taehyung was tired and sleepy too

"umm... I haven't finished the work yet sorry I will quickly do it" Jimin stands up from his seat bowing down "you can't do anything properly can you??" Taehyung walked closer to him "it wasn't even that hard and you had a whole day to finish it but here you're still doing this stupid work, you should be at home right now"

He slammed his hands on the desk in anger jimin backed away in fear he held him from his arm and pulled him out from his desk tears building in jimin's eyes "I told you to follow the rules and according to the rules you should leave even if you had the work left" he said with gritted teeth

Jimin nods his head "I said use your words" he tightened his grip on his arms and it was enough for jimin to break down in tears "I'm sorry" he replied in sobs taehyung sighed and stared at jimin as tears kept falling from his eyes not knowing what to do and how to react

He puts his hand behind jimin's head and pulled him closer burying jimin's face in his chest as he pats his head to calm him down not bothering with jimin staining his shirt with his salty tears they stayed like that for minutes no one dared to utter a word They didn't wrap their arounds each other, only jimin had his head rested on taehyung's chest and taehyung's hand was on jimin's neck and when jimin calmed down he slowly backed away.

And jimin already started missing the other's warmth "pick your stuff I'll drop you, it isn't safe for you to go alone at this hour" he said with a low voice like he's fighting with himself to utter these words jimin nods his head and took his stuff and followed taehyung

He clenched taehyung's button-up shirt scared to walk alone in the dark, and taehyung held his wrist instead, walking side by side with him they sat in taehyung's car and taehyung started the engine they both stared at the road in front of them not knowing what this road will bring to their life next.
