Switch Twenty

That's the only thing that I know but I know that there's more than that and I'm too close to know all about it but someone forcing me not to. It's like my body telling me otherwise but deep inside my head I want to know it all, all about it. There's so many questions are still on my head and asking myself a concrete answer.

Pinalobo ko ang pisngi ko at yumuko habang pinanood si Em na nakatulog na pala. Tumayo ako at nilagay siya sa paanan ng kama ko bago ako naman ang humiga sa kama.

I hugged the pillow and thinking deep again. I can't still asleep because I'm thinking so much things right now but there's a so much important question that's hitting on the other part of my mind. What happened to the vampire society when they are on chaos? Why is it affecting all the immortal? Who is the vampire ruler in the vampire society that time? And why I'm feeling that I'm connected to those?

I sighed again and forced myself to sleep. I still have class tomorrow so basically I will end up waking early in the morning but I doubt I would to. Yet, little did I know I drift off to sleep.

When I woke up I felt someone brushing on my toes which making a little tickle. I brushed my eyes and when I look who is it I smiled because it's just Em.

"Common' Em your such a lovey dovey cat of mine. Come here." I put her on my lap and pat her fur again. I looked at the wall clock and sighed because I still have an hour to prepare for my first class in the morning.

I take a bath before fixing my things. While I am mostly done on combing my hair I heard a loud knock on my door so I stand up from sitting on the chair and opened the door that's when I saw Sophia holding a book while grinning at me. I widely opened the door for her and let her in on my room.  

"The classmate of ours beside my room told me while I was walking to your dorm here that our classes for today is cancelled because of some urgent happened. So what we are going to do?" She said while flipping some page on the book she's holding.

"Is that The New Town book by Drown?" I asked her when she raised up her head and wrinkled her forehead.

"Yeah? Do you know this story?" I nodded and fix my hair on my side.

"Yes, I've read that book last year. Its a story of a teenage girl who always transferring town to town because of her dad known for its illegal doings and she's chasing by his. In that new town she met the boy who can make her heart beat so fast but then their love story is so complicated they died loving each other eternity." I saw her pouted as I smirk and sit on my bed not so far from her. I ducked my head and scanned all the books under my bed on the box. I smiled when I found what I am searching.

"This is the copy of mine." I raised the book I am holding. Her eyes are wide open as she take the book on my hand and check it and flipped the pages.

"You have a copy of this? Where do you buy this book?" She asked. I shrugged my shoulder.

"I don't know. Mother just buying me books but I don't know where she bought it." Her eyes still locked on the book as she take it back to me. The rough texture of the book I am holding and the smell makes me feel that I'm back home.

"You're lucky Jazzy your mother bought you that. I'm just borrowing this book on the other friend of mine. " I smiled. Am I lucky? I don't know. I can feel sometimes that she cares, she loved me but sometimes I feel so not so special and I feel that she's not even have a single care to me but then I just shrugged it off and do nothing to it. I'm not even questioning her why. Why she's being cold to me like I'm not her daughter, but I am. The twin of mine didn't even noticed that but I'm still glad that I have Jazille with me. With her I feel loved and cared. Our other relatives are not so active on us and I don't know the reason. They just going to our house to visit when it's Jazille and I birthday or mom's birthday but didn't even stay a little longer, they just have a five to six hours to stay and they will leave eventually.
