The sounds of a punching bag being pummeled can be heard.
"Fear is a tool,"
More sounds of the bag being hit can be heard.
"Fear can change people, it could make them exceed beyond limitations,"
The sounds are coming from a cave, bats fly and water falls, hitting the rocks below.
"Or make them petrified,"
A shirtless man can be seen attacking the punching bag, he uses martial arts techniques, switching every now and then.
"Fear is controlling,"
Taking a closer look, the man's eyes had bags but he didn't seem tired, he just kept on hitting the bag.
"A man with control, is a man who is feared,"
The man punches through the punching bag, the sand pouring out onto the ground. He pulls back his fist.
"But a man who is unhinged, is a man who is--"
The man wraps his hands with cloth as he looks down, his hair droop in front of his eyes. He had an angry expression, his eyebrows were sharp and his mouth were puckered a little, bending a frown.
"--Fear itself,"
The sun sets on the city of Gotham. The lights of the city turn on as the rays of the sun disappear. The bright lights of the buildings shone and lit up the city streets, but the shadows; the crooked alleys, remain the same.
The man leans over a desk which had some sort of computer, cables slithered around the desk, a set of radio equipment lied beside the computer; which fed information about the city, mostly its crime.
The man pushed a button on the computer, it turns on. The screen fills with a blue color, before a WayneTech logo appears, the screen flickers before it disappears and a desktop display appears. It had a few applications, the man clicks on an app called: Comms.
"Good evening, Master Y/N," The man - Y/N - slightly turns his head. "I thought you would be here,"
"Alfred," Y/N responds. Y/N stands up straight and walks towards a black rectangular shaped standing box, covered with a black cloth. Alfred approaches Y/N.
Y/N pulls down the black cloth, revealing the rectangle to be a metal pod, it had pitch black glass. He puts his hand on the cold glass, the surrounding surface of the glass around his hand glowed blue and the darkened glass clears, revealing the Bat-suit.
"It's been two long years since I've last saw him, I'm not sure if I'm ready now," Alfred says.
His face reflects on the glass, perfectly fitting the cowl of the Bat. His eyes shows that he's thrilled, sharpening and looking at it with interest.
Y/N puts on the suit. His cowl turns on as his eyes are then covered with a protective shield, it turns on and the outer layer of the shield glows white.
The cowl calibrates, switching through all of the functions of the Detective Mode, as well as the other functions of the suit.
He steps out of the chamber, Alfred looks at him. "Your Batwing is ready, sir," Alfred says. "Thank you, Alfred," Alfred nods before continuing, "Might I remind you sir, that it is still under development. You should know, you built it," Batman squints his eyes at him, "That's how I know it's ready," The sounds of hydraulic pistons captured the attention of the two of them.
As Batman walks towards the depressing platform which held the Batwing - a jet prototype Y/N is developing - Alfred walks towards him and turns Batman to face him. "All I'm saying is... be careful out there sir," Batman turns away, "I always am,"
