Chapter Ten: Dilemma

Fayenyra , Hope, Josie and Wade returned back to the school. Josie took down the containment spell that Lizzie had placed up.

They stood outside the front entrance ready to head in until they saw Dr. Saltzman standing outside.

" Dad" Josie said, alerting his attention.

" What are you doing here? " Alaric said, glancing at them."Dorian was supposed to keep you all away.

" He tried. " Hope said.

" But, He lost. " Fayenyra added.

Hope handed him a book. " But here. Killing Gargoyles 101. He thought you could translate it.

Alaric flipped the book up beginning to read it." Gaulish. "Son of a... " He was about to say, but held his tongue.

" Soare we are on our own, or did the Gauls provide clear instruction? " Wade inquired, glancing at his headmaster.

" In a nutshell, it says hit it hard, repeat as needed" Alaric replied.

Suddenly, a loud roar came from inside causing the teen's attention.

" Is that...? " Hope was about to say, but Alaric cut her off.

Alaric nodded. " It poisoned Lizzie to get my attention.Then it attacked me and took the knife.

" The knife? " Fayenyra asked. "The dragon knife and you're still breathing?

" Oh, I have a theory about that. " Alaric said.

" I took some the containment spell that Lizzie put up. "Josie said. " Lizzie wanted to make sure whatever attacked her didn't escape into the world.

" We better find out, before " Wade was about to say, but was cut off by the Gargoyle growling.

Alaric turned to Wade. " Right." Wade, I need you to go back to the town square and gather everyone back here."

" Got it, Dr. Saltzman," Wade said, walking away.

Fayenyra walked up to the schools door flicking her wrist, she opened the doors widely. She turned to the trio. " Shall, we."

She walked inside determined to put this whole nightmare behind them. Hope, Josie, and Dr. Saltzman followed behind her.
