Chapter 8 - Net

"Yea, lets go there, speaking of which, did anyone of you brought a net?" I questioned.

Both of them were dead silent. . . I guess I have to buy one...

"Ah. . . then wait for me here, I'll be buying one in the sports store near our school.

"A-Akemi you don't really have to..." Hinata blurted out, "We will just use what we have here, like this stick and stone..."

Both me and Kageyama looked at Hinata dumbfounded. He was also staring at us with a blank expression.

"Hinata-boke! What are we using those for?"

I laughed.

"I'll make sure that I'll be back in a flash," I said to them.

I started walking fast since Hinata will stop me if I stay there a little longer, but after walking a mile without them following me, it seems like they agreed to my suggestion. . .

Hinata POV:

"I'll be back in a flash" she spoke while walking fast, I was about to stop her but I prevented myself.

"She really is a nice person. . .Akemi I mean" I voiced.

I could see at the corner of my eye, Kageyama nodding while watching her from a distance.

"Sometimes I feel like Akemi is... older than us. I mean the way she talks and the way she walks, make it appear like she's not a teen anymore." I blurted out.

A vast wave of silence was surrounding us. . . 

From that wave, I could tell that he was agreeing with me.

Akemi POV:

Since my house was near the school I stopped by to change the outfit I was wearing, and right now I'm standing at the door of a sports store.

I pushed the door and there I saw that the interior was huge, it even got two floors. I rushed inside and felt the coldness of the air conditioner blew on my face, this is heaven.

After realizing my main purpose here in the store, I rushed towards the volleyball area. There I saw many Mikasa balls, which remind me of my waifu from AOT, Mikasa Ackerman. I also saw shoes for that certain sport and in the last row, I have finally seen what I was looking for.

I grabbed a big net that was in a bundle and didn't even look at the price, I dragged the net out of the volleyball area and towards the cashier, who knew a volleyball net was this heavy.

As I was walking towards the cashier, I heard two familiar voices speaking.

"We came here in Tōhoko just to go shop here?"

"This is the biggest sports complex in Miyagi Prefecture that's why"

"Are you stupid? We have a sports store in our region, and you still came here?"

"Your so mean ________"

It really was familiar, I'm pretty sure that both of them are characters that I simp for, but I couldn't remember them...

I hid behind two pillars near the location of the voices and heard them talking.

"What are you even going to buy here ______?"

"Stop calling me that name!"

"Ha? That is the only name that suits you tho" the other sarcastically replied.

"Tch, I shouldn't have brought you here"

"What did you say?"

"Nothing..."

I slowly dropped the net to the ground since the heaviness was making my arms numb. I was thinking of peeking at them but if I'm caught, then I'll be referred to as a stalker.

After a minute of deep thinking, I remembered that Hinata and Kageyama were waiting for me while I'm here stalking people. 

I grabbed the net and dragged it towards the counter which was quite far away from me, however as I was walking with my head looking at the ground, I bumped into something hard like a rock but had a beating sound.

"Ehhh, can this be the mark of Iwa-chan's love life?"

Iwa-chan.... that name...

I looked up and saw two boys in casual clothes looking at me, one with a worried expression while the other was smiling.

"Yahoo!" the smiling one said

"A-Are you ok miss?" spoke the other with a worried expression. . .

Oikawa Tooru and Hajime Iwaizumi . . . they are both infront of me. . .

At that moment, I realized what I bumped into.....Iwaizumi's built chest...

"Miss, are you ok?" he asked with concern present in his deep voice.

I felt the familiar hot feeling in my nostrils...my mind was blank while staring at the chest I bumped into...I was supposed to think properly and say something proper in this situation.

But the only thing I said was...

"Damn..."

Before the warm blood from my nose, started gushing...

Anyways, I might not be posting from tomorrow until Tuesday, since exams are coming up...But I'll try my best to write if I have time.o(*￣▽￣*)ブ

Also, our Female Lead is prone to nosebleeds lol (Did I say this in the last chapters or not?)
