tommy sat restlessly in his office, messily editing a little
montage for his vlog channel. he jerked his head towards his phone as his phone buzzed loudly again at wooden desk.

'steph.weissman just posted a photo'

he quickly clicked on the notification out of habit, his mouth falling open to see her in her old room. in the haze of editing he had forgotten she was here. she was here and he was editing a stupid vlog. he cursed himself.

he wanted to go catch up with her—properly—more than anything in the world but he had an inkling things wouldn't be the same. her abrupt disappearance from his life, years ago still made her heart ache, and their awkward interaction from yesterday only confirmed his theory.

tommy feel ill whenever he'd catch a glimpse of stevie's social media activity. she'd get hundreds of comments and replied to them all as if they were apart of her inner circle. it baffled him. that jarringly fake attitude seemed so far beyond the stevie he knew and loved.

so as he scrolled through the comments he scrunched his nose in disgust. he took note of one in particular, recognising the username: dannypercyy.

he remembered him from a photo awhile back. a now deleted photo dump, containing a photo of her kissing the guy who appeared to be danny's cheek. he felt a little weird seeing it, but tried not to think anything of it knowing how overly affectionate the girl had always been.

was danny her boyfriend? her ex? or just even a close friend? tommy didn't know, and he hated that fact. he clicked her profile, to search for anymore signs of dannypercyy, but was rudely interrupted by his mother.

"tom! dishes please!" she knocked at the office door.

"anything for you bby!" he mimicked with an american tinge in his voice, getting up from his chair hesitantly.

"excuse me?" she cocked an eyebrow as he opened the door.

"nothing, nothing at all my dear mother" his face began burning up as he just walked past her and back into the house.
