Part10:Barriers

Third person's pov

On the training ground , Sabo and Dragon were standing , Suddenly they heard a scream and when they turned to see the source they saw Evebelle running to them "Dragon-san!!! What is he doing here!" She shouted

"He'll train you" Dragon answered

"Why not you!!" Eve cried

"I'll train you too but he'll help me with the application" Dragon said calmly

"And how?" Eve questioned

"you'll see" Dragon said

Evebelle's pov

"everyone has Potential energy But there are some people who can bring It out easily and there are other people who find a difficult showing It , So first you'll try to bring out this potential energy called "Haki" , It has 3 types : the meditation , The armament and finally the royal Haki -"

"Do I have this power too?" I asked

"Everyone Have It! Remember when the marines attacked us in the castel ?! The guy who beat you was a haki user" Sabo affirmed

"And how can I reveal It?" I said

"By training!, Now let's begin" Dragon replied

"And how?" I said

"All what you're doing Is asking ! first step: you'll fight Sabo without haki or a devil fruit just the body's power" Dragon ordered

"WHAT!" I said shocked

"Are you scared?" Sabo teased

"Me? !! Scared of what?" I responded as I prepared my fists to hit the guy In front of me but he avoided my attack ,I was punching unconsciously , Actually , I knew I wasn't that strong girl who can make a man fall with a punch but , This time was different , I had to suppose my presence , The anger was so clear In my face , Spark flying of my eyes , why can't I hit him . Is It because I'm weak? I'm so angry and sad.Sabo was hesitating I can see it in his face so I said "Hey!! Don't hesitate please , Do It for me, A gentleman wouldn't hurt a weak girl , But I'm not weak just take It seriously" Suddenly, I felt my face flying from Its place as I fell on the ground blood leaking from my lips "What The Hell Did you Do Right now You Son Of Hell!!!" I shouted raising up

"I said that I'm not here to play and It's not a toy" Sabo answered avoiding my kicks and punches "I'm not weak ! I'll show you" I said as I kicked his arm , He smirked when he kicked my stomach folding my hand behind my back "First lesson, Don't loosen your defense from happiness" Sabo answered mocking he then , pushed me making me clash into the wall

three hours later

I kneeled on the ground gasping , wounds all over my skin , my heart beating so fast , I couldn't see anything when I fell on my face .. "I can't resist It anymore" I whispered

Third person's pov

Sabo ran to the fallen girl In front of his vision

"Hell ! I shouldn't be that harsh with her! She's so fragile" The shocked boy Cried to the man standing watching the full fight

"No, she isn't , she's so strong but she don't know how to use her strength she has a very strong durability look at her situation. In this way , she'll wake haki so fast" Dragon affirmed wisely

The 2nd commander's heart was ripping into pieces seeing the girl In such condition but there isn't any other choice he had to do It , to make her stronger so she can stay with him for all time It was his way to protect his girl, For him , It was better that he's the one who had to do It not another ,he took the girl In his hands riding away the blood from her innocent face while adoring her silent beauty

"Hmm.." Dragon hummed

"Eh!! I'll take her to her room and I'll heal her wounds" Sabo said as he held Evebelle bridal style

"What happened?!!" Koala said shocked

"We had a fight" Sabo answered

"With you ?? !" Koala asked "Are you crazy ? don't say that you hit her?"

"Dragon-san's orders .. today was her first training"Sabo answered

"I'll heal her" Koala replied sitting on Evebelle'e bed

Timeskip-at night

"Oww!" I yelled as I tried to stand up from the bed "my back hurts"

"Let me help you" koala said

"No thanks It's okay " I answered

"That asshole ! why did he hurt you like this, I won't forgive him" The brown-haired girl complained

"After all It was dragon-san's orders and I'm thankful to him , because It's not a game , I really feel the progress!" I answered smiling

"But look at the blue spots on your skin, poor you" Koala shouted

"hey !! Shut up I'm fine" I said as we heard a knock on the door

"enter " Koala said

The blond man entered the room blushing "Are you okay Eva?" He said

"I'm okay thank you for asking" I answered

"I'm S-"

I interrupted him " No! you shouldn't be ! I'm thankful that would make me more stronger so I'll do better In missions" 'and you'll congratulate me like Koala' I thought

"I should go now" Koala affirmed getting out from the room

I shivered when I felt a cold hand on my cheeks , I raised my head to see the older man In front of me "are you feeling okay? Your face Is hot , don't you have a fever?" Sabo asked

"No, I'm okay .." I replied removing his hand from my face ,the blondish blushed hard

Third person's pov

When he touched her warm skin he felt that he owned the world , he revealed his feelings for her recently when she asked dragon to train her strongly and courageously , Her insistence and determination while fighting him even when she was falling down exhausted and her Angelic pure face when she was sleeping he just wanted to close his eyes and see her smile , Like in the past , an innocent little girl with a very beautiful and warm smile hugging him waiting for him to come to her , To be by her side. But everytime he see her picture he just feel guilty and regretful that he left her alone even when he promised her to be forever by her side protecting her and now , Ace's death nearly killed her feelings at first, he left her for ace and luffy to take care of her , But now ace left her for luffy and him and no one can take her away . But in fact , Those feelings wasn't the regret for breaking his promise but for breaking her image in his mind as his little sister to be the one he loves , and he didn't want to confess It . there was one barrier between them but now She made barriers she either knew that she had feelings for him but she couldn't help but hiding them deep, she wanted him to see her , To want her , To need her but she thought that she have to be stronger in a way that no one can beat her so she defended pain .

Moments of silence between them until she said "I have to sleep now , I have training tomorrow , Sorry , we'll talk later , Goodbye" Sabo widened his eyes he didn't expected that she'll say that with such a coldness "Ah, Yes , Me too I just came to ask about your health eva , If you need anything I'll be In my room" He answered leaving the room "Goodbye, have sweet dreams.." She murmured as she closed her eyes to sleep.
