Sin of the Void

Part 1

As he walked through the store, we got a glimpse of his left hand where we saw a mark that most would just pass off as being in the theme of stylish tribal designed tattoos

Walking through the store, he was able to find the woman now looking at different packaged snacks and trying to decide on what flavor to try before spotting him out of the corner of her eye and greeted him 

???: "Nice of you to finally show up Y/n, thought you were just gonna ditch me" 

Y/n: "Wouldn't dream of it Subaki, so you decide on what flavor this time?"

Subaki: "Not sure yet, I'll probably go with these" 

The girl, now identified as Subaki, grabbed a large bag of potato chips as they went to the counter to pay for her items as the Cashier told the price 

Cahsier: "that'll be 363 yen" 

As the cashier bagged her items, she reached into her pocket and pulled out her wallet, opening it, she was first greeted with a photo of both her and Y/n, the latter's arm wrapped around her shoulder as the two of them were at a costume convention and the two of them were both dressed in outfits from some unknown anime 

Seeing this, she smiled a little before grabbing the money she needed, stopping once more when one of the coins caught her interest 

Subaki: "Huh, a jagged edged ten" 

Placing that coin back inside her wallet, she finished grabbing the money as she then handed it to the clerk who then handed her items to her in a plastic bag before both her and Y/n left the store, being met with the cold air of nighttime

As they watched a car drive past, Y/n noticed that Subaki had stopped walking and was looking right through him, almost like she was looking at something behind him but when he turned, he saw that it was still an empty parking lot and so he turned back and snapped his fingers in front of her, snapping her out of whatever trance she was in 

Y/n: "You right there Subaki?" 

Subaki: "Hm? Oh, yeah, sorry, just though I heard something, I guess it's the lack of sleep, huh?"

Y/n: "That's what you get for holding up in your room for the whole day playing games" 

Subaki: "Whatever you say Houdini, I'm tired, Y/n, carry me" 

Y/n: "What am I, your slave?" 

Subaki: "Pleeeeeaaaaaase?" 

Subaki then looked to Y/n with sleepy puppy dog eyes, causing the young man to groan in annoyance and dropped his bag on the ground 

Y/n: "Fine, put your bag in mine and take it, I'll give you a piggy back ride" 

Subaki: "Yay" 

With a yawn, Subaki then put her bag of items inside Y/n's backpack before putting it on her back as she jumped onto Y/n's back, wrapping her arms around his neck while he hooked his arms around her legs to keep her on his back as they began to walk again 

Y/n: "Start getting some rest Subaki, I'll wake you when we're back at your place" 

Subaki: "ok" 

Subaki then slowly closed her eyes and after a few seconds, she heard Y/n's voice again 

Y/n: "Uh...Subaki?!" 

Subaki didn't open her eyes as she responded to Y/n

Subaki: "Yeah?" 

Y/n: "Can you open your eyes for a moment? I just want to confirm I'm not losing my marbles" 

Subaki: "Hm? what do you mean-" 

Subaki cut herself short upon opening her eyes and being blinded by the sunlight which was very strange as it was late in the evening not even a minute ago and upon her eyes adjusting, she saw that they were no longer in japan and instead, they were in what one could only describe as a fantasy kingdom. The streets were filled with people of all sorts of fantasy races

Subaki: "What's...going on?" 

Y/n: "I'm not sure Suu" 

Subaki: "I can't be dreaming, but this is really happening, totally not fake!

Subaki then got off of Y/n's shoulders as she then turned him to face her, a bewildered look on her face 

Subaki: "Does this mean we've been summoned across the universe to a whole other world?!" 

Y/n: "I think so, but you know what this means?" 

Subaki: "You bet I do!" 

Y/n and Subaki: "Time to go exploring!" 

With that, I'm gonna end this chapter here, I hope you all enjoy it and I'm sorry it's not as long, I didn't want to write the entire episode in one chapter as that would've taken way too much time to do so. 

I just want to let everyone know, Yes, Subaki knows about Y/n's powers and he has some of Corvo and Emily's powers and some from the Tabletop RPG too but he doesn't know all of them yet and hasn't fully trained with all of them either. Others will be learned at later times in the story 

The Powers he has now: 

Stop/Bend Time (Duration of 30 seconds) 

Blink (Maximum distance of 28 feet, which would be enough to cross streets safely)

Rat Whispers (Can hear the voices of rats) 

Shadow Crawl 

Wind Blast

Domino (Can only link two targets as of right now) 

As of right now, episode one's going to take forever to finish writing chapters for since it's 50 minutes long So forgive me since it will take a while to update this story, I'm not used to episodes being almost an hour's length
