The next day comes and Daillia (Decided to change her name pronouncing it Da-le-ah) walks out her house wearing light green sneakers, graphic shirt with her favorite 90's band at the time,baggy jeans, and a white Yankees hat.
Daillia yells to her parent and siblings " I'm going out I'll be back later". As she walks she goes by Vinny drug store and there Daillia sees the boys that were at the sandlot and Benny.
Daillia waves at Benny and say in a exited tone "Hey Benny!". Benny has a surprised look but nods his head and replied to her greeting "Hey Daillia". Daillia walks over to Benny and the rest of the boys "Hey" Daillia says smiling showing her blue braces and looking at the boys. The boys all said hey and we're talking to Daillia for a bit.
"Hey umm we should start heading to the sandlot" Benny said after looking at the time, the crew agreed. Daillia says "Oh you guys are playing baseball" Benny replied with "Oh yea. Hey you should come too". The whole crew looks at benny with the same expression 'Your kidding right'.
Daillia says smiling from ear to ear "Yea sure I would love that" they all look at Daillia with a surprise look.
A few second later at the sandlot Yeah-Yeah final broke the silence said what everyone was thinking"Why did you invite her Benny" Timmy "Yea man she a girl she can't play ball" Tommy "Yeah man" Squints "This is a mistake Benny".
Benny "come on she makes 10 now we have a complete team let's just see what she got, and wasn't it you guys asking me to set you guys up They start playing, Benny "Y/N your up."Ham replied with a snarky answer "Yea on a date a game, girls don't like playing ball and they at it to".
The team all nod looking back at Daillia who was in the far back. Benny looked at her to, starting to notice how pretty she looked under the sun with her skin glowing and her looking hair shiny. But Benny quickly snapped into focus one he notice everyone was still debating if Daillia should join or not. Benny started to speak " That's enough discussing. I mean she already here why don't we just see what she got." Everyone just agreed and walked to their bases and after Benny told Daillia where to go he started talking, "Ok Daillia show us what you got".
Daillia goes to home base and lifts hat up a bit to make sure she sees Kenny pitches the ball. Daillia hits the ball straight on and it goes by the fence but not completely over. HOME RUN! Daillia starts to think as she runs. Squints says" She's alright" Bertram says "Ok let's play some ball"!
