Chapter 8

"I'm going to go get her bag" I say and walk back the hallway to paisleys room, of course my parents spoiled her so she has her own room here

When I walked back out Callie had Paisley in her arms

"Are you okay zona? You don't look too good" my mom says

"I'm fine, just a little too much to drink last night" I chuckle and she kisses my cheek

"Well I hope you feel better then," she smiles,

After we said goodbye we went back to the car and Callie got Paisley in her car seat

Once home paisley was almost asleep in the back seat, seeing as her nap time is right about now anyway,

I got her out and she laid her head on my shoulder while Callie grabbed her bags,

Callies POV

I went ahead and grabbed Paisleys bags while Arizona carried her in,

Arizona really didn't look too good, she was pale in the face and wasn't as talkative as she would normally be with the baby

I put the things on the table and heard Arizona mumble something but I couldn't hear her

"What?" I ask and turn around

"Callie take her" she says and I look at her confused

"Take her, Callie" she says and and I take Paisley from her arms still confused,

Arizona wasn't even able to take a step before she passed out, holding Paisley I was only able to use one arm to catch her, still better from hitting the floor

"Momma!" Paisley shrieks and I put her down so I could tend to Arizona

"Hey, Hey, Zona baby" I say softly and brush the hair out of her face, putting the back of my hand on her forehead, she definitely has a fever

"Momma" paisley cries and as much as I want to comfort her I need to make sure Arizona is alright

"Arizona, I need you to open your eyes baby. Show me your eyes" I say and she doesn't move, paicking me more now,

She has a pulse, she's breathing, but she won't wake up

"Dammit!" I sigh and say a little too loudly and Paisley moved away from me

I quickly got up and called Ben since he was on the Aid car and they were on their way

"Zona please" I say kissing the back of her hand, I need her to wake up

Luckily Ben was only 3 minutes out and was soon walking through the door,

"She won't wake up I- I don't know what to do" I say frantically

"Callie, Callie, we got her, she'll be okay," he says and him and another fire fighter get her on a stretcher

"You riding with us or driving?" He ask

"Um- can I bring our daughter?" I ask

"Yea of course" he says and I nod, picking Paisley up, her still crying into my shoulders as we get into the rig,

I kept Paisley turned towards me so she wouldn't see Arizona right now

They were putting an oxygen mask on her while checking her pupils

"Miranda and Shepherds waiting for us, she's going to be okay" Ben tells me and I nod, wiping my own eyes

When we got to the hospital I couldn't concentrate no anything they were saying as we were getting out of the rig

Amelia and Bailey took her in and I followed

"Callie, Callie! What happened?" April says coming up to me

"I don't know, she just passed out" I say

"Callie, was she feeling bad?" Bailey ask

"Here let me take her so you can concentrate on Arizona" April says and I smile and nod thankfully, giving Paisley to April so I could go over to Arizona

"She hasn't felt the best for the past week or so, she thought it was just her period" I say and Amelia focusing on her worries me

"We need to get her to CT" Amelia says and Bailey nods

"What's wrong?" I ask frantically

"Callie, Callie, I know you're scared but you need to let us help her. You focus on that beautiful little baby girl over there" Bailey tells me and I nod, sticking my hands in my hair as they wheel my wife away

I got myself together and found April who was comforting an upset toddler

"Come here baby, come to mommy" I say and she reached for me and lays her head on my shoulder

"Mommy loves you, so so much"
