It was the night before Ranboo flies to the UK and meet his friends there. Ranboo somehow cannot sleep, he was getting frustrated 'why can't I sleep!?" He mentally shouted.
He decided to scroll thru his phone to find something that can make him tired or sleepy. He went to discord and look who's online so he can have someone to talk to. No one that he was close to was online, they were probably busy or asleep. Until he saw that Oli was online and asked himself 'why is he awake at 1am?'

OLI I kinda cant sleep Maybe because I had a long nap earlier I usually have a good sleep schedule- today was just not it

Oli called Ranboo, startling the boy a little, Ranboo answered the call and immediately heard a 'hello' from Oli. "Hi" he said back "so you can't sleep huh? What time did you woke up?" Oli asked "I literally woke up at 12pm" Ranboo said "aren't you tired?" Oli asked "kinda? It's like, my body is tired but my brain can't just shut down" Ranboo ranted "I felt that before, is it because you're excited for tomorrow? You're gonna meet your best friends soon, is that why you can't sleep?" Oli asked, this is kinda like therapy now.
"Hmm.. maybe, how 'bout you? What time did you woke up from your nap?" Ranboo asked "4pm, it was a great nap tho, I just can't sleep now" Oli chuckled. The feeling of each other's company is very calm and comfortable, it's like they've been friends for months.
They've just been talking for a while, talking about random topics, Ranboo talking about his plans in the UK and Oli talking about his plans when he'll go to college. 2am hits, Oli feeling a little bit tired from talking and so does Ranboo. "You know what Ranboo, I think you should try UK food and tell me what it taste like, I have not tried UK food yet to be honest because I'm scared of them" Oli laughed.
"Sure I'll try them, also you can call me Aaron by the way" he said "ohh your real name is Aaron? That's nice, mine is Sam, we both have basic names huh" Sam said as both boys laughed, "yeah, we're pretty basic, I actually thought you're name is actually Oli" Aaron said "nope, I just used that because I thought it was cool, I was also going to be "ravioli" just because why not but I thought it was very stupid so I just went with Oli" Sam said.
"Ravioli? Why?" Aaron asked "I don't know, I was just in a silly goofy mood" he laughed. "Why did you chose the name Ranboo?" Sam asked "Rainbow, but not" Aaron laughed.
They were talking for a while until they fell silent, not because they ran out of topics to talk to just because they were just chilling, being comfortable with each other's company. Aaron was just staring at his ceiling, there was nothing to see, his room was too dark where the only light in his room was his phone. He was just spacing out until he heard soft snores, Sam fell asleep, Aaron decided to end the call so he wouldn't wake up Sam.
Aaron looked at the time, 3am, they've been in that call for 2 to 3 hours, it felt like it was only 30 minutes but I guess you don't realize how time works when you're enjoying your time with someone.
Aaron felt how tired he was once he turned his phone off, he didn't realized it earlier. He fell asleep after a while when he turned his phone off. Those couple of hours was such a peaceful moment for the both of them, they've gotten very comfortable around each other even if they've only knew each other for a week or so, maybe this friendship was meant to happen, I guess?
