Rumors

"W-what? You guys are scarring me"

"Come with us." Shinso said has he pulled me out of the cafeteria to a classroom

"Shinso, what's going on?"

"There's a rumor going around you decided not to see your string... I'm not sure how everyone found out but people are saying you're a freak for not going to the seeker."

"W-what?" I asked confused, why does it even matter. Why should what I do with my string matter to anyone else, it not like it affects their life

"Maybe somebody just made it up, it's not like you actually did that, hehe" Monoma spoke up

Both Shinso and I looked away

"Y-you actually... Holy Sh*t!!!" Monoma shouted, obviously in complete shock

"Nieto, shush! We don't need the whole school knowing we're in here"

"Why does it even matter!" I shouted, now realizing the situation I'm in

"Izu..."

"It's my life, why should I have this stupid string dictate anything! Why do people keep getting involved into my life, can't they just... Argh!!" I was starting to get frustrated, so frustrated I started to take it out on my brother

"Izuku, it's fine. We will do something..."

"No! I can handle it, I DON'T need YOUR help!" I said exaggerating the don't and your. I didn't want to get them involved, I just need to be by myself

"W-what? I'm just trying to help! Why are you taking it out on me, what's your damage!!!" Shinso yelled at me, I got startled, and jumped. He noticed because he quickly started to apologize but I didn't let him. I quickly left the room and started to walk, I don't know where I was going I just wanted out of this place.

*Time Skip*

Shinso's POV

After mine and Izu's fight, Monoma and I went back to class. Izu wasn't anywhere to be found, I was gonna tell my dad about what happened but the bell rang indicating class is in session. I decided to just leave it and take my seat.

After a while, everyone was in class, talking like normal but I couldn't help but notice one person missing. I was going to speak up until I heard Uraraka open her mouth.

"What do you guys think it up with Deku-kun?" - Uraraka

"What do you mean?" - Todoroki

"Well, he's been avoiding us and now he's missing class plus not seeing the seeker. It's just weird." - Uraraka

"Yeah, I kinda agree." - Iida

A few murmurs were heard and more yeah's I thought it was unbelievable. They were talking about Izu behind his back, but they were right. He's been distant and suspicious.

"Shinso, you're his brother. Do you know what's going on with him?" I heard Todoroki ask and everyone switched their gaze onto me.

"Yeah I'm his brother so what. Even if I did know what's going on with him, it's not like I would tell you" I responded harshly, it's not my place to tell anyways, even if I'm curious myself

"Sheesh, man. We just asked if you knew anything, no need to be so mean!" Sero stated and I heard others agree

"Plus we are just worried for Deku-kun! How crazy must you be to turn down the seeker." - Uraraka

"Yeah, plus Deku has always been so open with us, so why is he being such a freak about the soulmate strings" - Tsuyu

"Don't call my brother a freak!" I shouted

"Why it's true with how he's been acting" Momo chimed in

"Hah! What you damn extras gossiping about!" Bakugou yelled as he walked into the classroom with Mr. Aizawa

"You guys are a bunch of fake ass friends! Just because Deku isn't talking to us right now doesn't mean we can call him a freak. Sometimes we just want to be alone" Denki stated as he looked at our class with a disappointed face

"You guys were what!?" Aizawa shouted

"It's just, Deku's been ignoring us and we are worried about him." Mina responded

"Yeah well sometimes people don't want to open up to anyone" Kiri chimed in, kind of referencing to Denki when he was going through something

"That's enough!" Aizawa shouted

"Where even is the damn nerd?" Bakugou asked after scanning the room

Everyone then began to panic, 'was Izu in there the whole time?' Was going through most of their brains. Luckly, Izu wasn't but where was he?

"*Sigh* I will go look for Midoriya, the rest of you get your act together. I would hope for an aoplogy to be given to Midoriya after this." Aizawa stated then walked out the door

The class then began to burst into a fit of conversations, especially about Izuku. I hope everything goes back to normal soon.

Aizawa's POV

Damn those problem children. *Sigh* Where did you go Izu? I swear to god if your ditching class on the roof again...

I looked on the roof but no Izuku. Wheere could he be? I started to look everywhere but couldn't find him. I started to get worried, what if he has another panic attack? Or gets into a villian attack?

W-what if he?? The worst thought came into my head, I started to flip out. I ran to Present Mic

"M-mic!"

"S-shouta? Hey, what's wrong? I'm here, it's going to be okay" Mic said as he pulled my into a hug and comforted me

After a while of me calming down

"I-izuku. He's gone, I can't find him" my voice broke as I told Mic

"Shh, it will be okay. He's strong, he can defend himself."

"I know, but what if he has aonother panic attack or if he s-starts to... c-cut again?"

"Hey, Izu's better. He has a loving family and friends. He has a different life now. He will talk things out, I don't think he would want to freak us out like that. Have you asked Nezu if he's seen him?"

"N-no, let's go do that!"

We made our way to Nezu's office.

"Ah, Aizawa, Present Mic. What can I help you two with this lovely afternoon" - Nezu

"Have you seen Izuku today?" - Mic

"Mhm, yes he visited my office just after lunch. He seemed a bit startled and out of it, asked in it was okay for him to leave. I told him it's best if he were to stay in school but mention something about it being safe for him to be alone away from everybody?"

"So he left school?" - Mic

"Yes, I told him as long as he keeps me posted that he is safe then it shouldn't be a problem. I sensed something was troubling him, I think it's best if we give him some space to figure things out on his own, don't you guys think?"

"Well, yes but what if he" - Aizawa

"There's no need to worry Aizawa. I know he's your son but sometimes having your parent hovering your every move can be suffucationg."

"Okay, thank you Nezu" - Aizawa

"It's nothing. Now have a good day, both of you!"

OMG!!! I'm so horrible 😭😭 I've been so caught up on school I haven't had a chance to work on this story. I'm on break right now so I tried to work on some of it so hopefully I can get one more chapter out before school starts Monday. I'm so thankful for all of you!!!
