"Ms. Zaitel who baked this cookies?" he asked. Katabi ko lang siya nang upo dito sa sofa sa sala.
Para siyang bata kung makatanong.
"Manang Teni" I shortly answered.
"Can I have more?" He asked annoyingly.
"Just go to the kitchen" I said.
He walked like a cool man towards the kitchen. Ang angas maglakad pero ang takaw naman.
Maangas na mahilig sa cookies.
Ilang sandali lang ay nakabalik na rin siya dala ang isang plato na may lamang cookies.
"Saan ba ang punta ni Acerdel at ang aga niyang umalis kanina?" Tanong ko kay Fergal.
"Operation" maikli nitong sagot at naupo sa tabi ko.
Medyo lumayo ako nang konte kasi napasobra ang lapit niya sa akin.
"Operation? E bakit nandito ka?" I asked.
"Kasi nga pinabantay ka ni Acerdel sa akin" he said as he picked a cookie and take a bite of it.
"Go with them. I will be fine here" suhestiyon ko na ikinailing niya lang.
"Mahigpit niyang utos na bantayan kita at huwag iaalis ang paningin ko sayo" he said while crunching the cookie inside his mouth.
"I know they can make and finish this operation well. With a leader like Acerdel and our team, nothing will be impossible." He haughtily said as if he trusted his team hundred percent. In his tone, it looks like his team is the only he trusted the most in his entire life.
Well I never saw them closely so I can't judge there ability, for now, not to mention that I also don't know them. Not even there names. I only remember the guy who sent Acerdel the night where his drunk. His name is Rrender, the childlike guy.
The way Fergal talks about his team it's looks like they're not just a simple group of good looking soldiers but their also an excellent and a solid group that no one can beat, I think. A big rock that no one can break into pieces.
Maybe the government choose an excellent and wise soldiers. Well, as I look Acerdel his good at everything, defending his self also the other people around him, his a good cook, wise man, strong, and maybe his a good leader too.
Fergal is also like Acerdel in the other aspects and moves. Maybe they're been together since then, nagkakahawaan lang siguro sila o may gaya-gayang nangyayari, di natin alam.
Nabo-bored na ako. Gusto kong lumabas.
Katatapos lang naming mananghalian pero kumakain pa rin ng cookies si Fergal.
"Hey Fergal" agaw pansin ko rito.
Puno ang bibig niya akong binalingan nang tingin. Yayks ano ba naman 'yan.
"Hmm" he hummed.
"Let's go out. Pasyal tayo" aya ko rito na mabilis niyang ikinalingo ng paulit-ulit.
Inabot niya ang juice niya at saka uminom roon.
"Hindi pwede" he seriously said.
"And why?" I curiously asked.
"Papatayin ako ni Acerdel kapag nalaman niyang lumabas ka" he said directly make me more confused.
Papatayin? Isa bang killer si Acerdel at takot siya sa isang 'yon.
"Di niya naman malalaman" sabi ko na wala namang ikinabago nang reaksyon niya sa mukha.
Muli itong napalingo.
