Chapter 7

At the hospital...

The doctor enters the room.

Doctor: Hey Shane! How'd you sleep?

Shane is happy to see the doctor.

Shane: (laughing) Pretty decent.

Doctor: That's good. Today we have to do a procedure on your leg.

Shane: Really? What for?

Doctor: The knife that knocked you out has its blade in your leg. Don't move it one bit or it WILL find a way to your heart.

Shane: (Nervous) U-Ok.

Doctor: Don't worry you won't feel a thing we are gonna use sleep gas.

Shane: Ummm. Ok!

The doctor injects Shane. He lays him slowly back on the bed. He grabs a knife and cuts down Shanes leg. He grabs his tweezers and moves it so he can reach the bullet. Then he grabs the bullet and pulls it out. After that he begins stitching up his leg. Shane then wakes up.

Shane: When are you going to do the procedure?

Doctor: Already done!

Shane: Oh.

Doctor: Well tomorrow if your healthy we can release you! Sound good?

Shane: I've been waiting for that word. (Smiles)

At the waiting room...

Trinity enters the room and goes up to the desk.

Trinity: I'm here to see Shane Thompson.

Lady: Umm ok your all good.

Trinity walks into the elevator. And presses the 3 button. She begins going up and the elevator stops. She exits and goes to Shanes room. She enters.

Trinity: Hey Shane!

Shane: It's nice to see you again. Really. It is.

Trinity: When's your release?

Shane: Tomorrow hopefully.

Trinity: Fingers crossed!

Shane: So what'd you come down for.

Trinity: To visit...and bring you news.

Shane: What news?

Trinity: You know how your father is Damion?

Shane: Yeeaah?

Trinity: He's not your real father.

Shane: What do you mean?

Trinity: I did research last night because Comba stabbed your leg. He's a rival God and he's your dad.

Shane: No he can't be he's a teenager!

Trinity: When he came back to Earth after being defeated he shaped his self to be a teen so he could be around you.

Shane: So I'm an enemy?

Trinity: You've proved yourself ally to be my friend and not kill me.

Shane: But the things is why would Comba want to be around me? Because I'm his son?

Trinity: No but Shane you see since your related to Comba your the only one who can predict his movement like you know his plans. And since your related to Comba that means you...are a Swordcan. A Swordcan is a person with more than two abilities. There's more to you then we know.

Shane: So what you're telling me is my dad is Comba and I am special so I have to kill him?

Trinity: Yes.

Shane: The one thing I don't understand is why does he want to be around me?

Trinity: His...demon is like yours...but his can posses the one he is related to. So in order to do that he must be close to you and he stabbed you because he needs an opening to get into you. It takes 7 weeks to manage to take the body. But since the wound is closed it is reset and the only way is to keep a wound unattended for 7 weeks. And from knowing Comba he WILL make sure that happens.

Shane: Tell him I said bring it.

Trinity: One of the reasons I love you is the fire you hold you don't back down.

Shane motions Trinity to come closer. She comes so close they share the same air. Shane pulls Trinity into him kissing her. After they stop Shane says something.

Shane: And I won't back down from this. (Smiles)
