Y/N'S POV:
When I woke up the next morning, Corey wasn't in bed anymore. I looked over at the night stand to check the time, (12:30 pm), the clock read. That was later than I normally slept, but I slept very well that night. I decided to head over to my room so I could shower and get ready. Before I walked out I seen a note on the door, whenever you wake up, go get ready.. meet me downstairs..
-Love Corey, it read. I ran to my room so fast, I quickly got ready, and then rushed downstairs. "I didn't say you had to rush" Corey said while laughing. He was standing there, holding flowers, and a note. "Here these are for you." Corey said and handed the note and the flowers to me. I opened the note and it read,
I went through your journal this morning, you said you loved the rain. It's raining today, want to go dance in the parking lot?... P.S please don't hate me for going through your journal, I barely know anything about you, and it was sitting on the desk.. plus you are the one who brought your room key into my room.. and I got bored. I started laughing as I read this, I walked and gave him a kiss on the cheek, "how did you know that it was still going to be raining?" I said to Corey. "I listened to the radio.. I heard all the forecasts.." Corey said to me. "Ok weirdo, let's go dance now, you wrote it yourself." I said and grabbed his hand. Once we got outside he was playing my favorite songs, clearly he was prepared for whenever I woke up. The songs that played were:
Time After Time by Cyndi Lauper
She's like the wind by Patrick Swayze, from the Dirty Dancing soundtrack, which happens to be my favorite movie.
Come on Eileen by Dexy's Midnight Runners.
Bennie And The Jets by Elton John
And lastly.. Jessie's Girl by Rick Springfield.
"You really did read my whole journal didn't you?" I said to Corey while laughing. At this point I was already soaking wet, it was pouring down rain, but I loved it. I loved everything about the rain, and back home in California everyone hated the rain so no one would go out and dance with me while it was raining. "I didn't read the whole thing.." Corey said whole laughing a bit, "now come on let's dance" he said and grabbed my hand. We started dancing like idiots in the empty parking lot, there was never cars there so it was perfect. Eventually I just laid on the ground, Corey laid next to me. "Y/N, I have something to tell you..." Corey said to me in a serious tone. "What's up Corey..?" I said trying to hide that I was worried...
