It was Alice's first relationship after all; she didn't know what was right or wrong in it.

She would ask Stella and Johnny but she wasn't exactly on good terms with them after she cursed Stella on the phone and yelled at Johnny at his place. Alice hadn't made any effort to talk to them no matter how much it pained her and they hadn't tried either.

"Stop that," Ruby scolded, hitting Alice's nose lightly with her pencil, the older girl scrunching her nose as she leaned back to meet Ruby's gaze. "We need to work on your grades. You have so much to catch up on, I'm going to spend the night here."

"Do you have your uniform with you?" Ruby shook her head, about to say she won't stay the night then but Alice was quick to dismiss that thought. "I have a spare one, you can wear that."

"Great, it's a plan." Alice hummed, leaning in to kiss her but Ruby stopped her with a pencil to her lips. "Nuh-uh, homework first."

"You're making me hate school even more," Alice grumbled as she grabbed her pen and picked up a sheet from the rather large pile at the edge of the bed. Ruby watched her with a smile before doing the same, the two working through the sheets until they were completed.

"What the fuck happened to your face?" Alice questioned as she, Ruby and Olivia saw Anwar walking their way to get to SRE together

"What the fuck happened to your face?" Alice questioned as she, Ruby and Olivia saw Anwar walking their way to get to SRE together. He and Olivia had slowly warmed up to Alice over the weeks she spent with them, now forgiven her for how she hurt Ruby.

"Anwar, your face is hideous," Olivia gasped as Ruby struggled to look away from the large sort of bruise swelling half his face. Alice reached for Ruby's hand, pulling the girl close enough that their shoulders bumped softly every now and then, neither of them minding.

"I know. I look like a crazy fucking mofo."

"Well, should you go to a hospital?" Ruby asked, still looking at him until Alice squeezed her hand, noting Anwar's growing frustrations from everyone looking his way. Nobody would have the courage to say anything to his face but there was no doubt they were gossiping about it.

"No, I think it's just stress hives."

"What are you stressed about?"

"It's hard being me, Olivia. Okay?" Anwar answered rather loudly, causing Olivia to flinch. Alice knew better than to interfere with that so she stayed silent as they made their way to SRE class that was now being held in the common rooms.

"How'd your test go?" Rudy asked as they reached the common rooms, stopping against the wall. Alice shrugged, not knowing herself. She answered all the questions for her biology test but wasn't sure if they were right and wouldn't know for another week. "You answered everything though, yeah?"

"Yeah," Alice said, nodding. Olivia gently hit Ruby's arm, getting their attention on the couple beside them. Lily wasn't in her usual bright makeup and hair accessories and she looked miserable about it. Alice didn't blame her, it was a way that she liked to express herself and Hope took that from her.
